Advice Column *Part 7* Passionate Rants

How it works: Submit a rant through Pm; it can be however long you want it to be, can be any topic you want it to be, and mention if you want to be unknown or not.

Remember: You guys are allowed to rant and feel emotion, but it's not good to keep it all inside because you deserve to speak your voice and be proud of that. Just remember to respect each others opinions&topics in the comments if you want to say something about it. Have a voice and have a rant :)

Rant Topic: "I'M OFFENDED"

Rant: When people say "I'M OFFENDED" all the time.

Seriously, if you're offended by something on the Internet then you should turn off your computer/phone. No one is going to cater to the needs of a specific person, and no should alter their words just because one person is offended.

I think this quote sums it up nicely.

"It's now very common to hear people say, 'I'm rather offended by that.' As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more... than a whine. 'I find that offensive.' It has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that.' Well, so fucking what."

Rant: Iabsolutely HATE the social hierarchy that is high school. i hate the whole "popular" clique and how everyone acts like they are gods or something. i don't know what its like at other schools but at my school your either in the clique or your not,there is no in-between. i hate how all those "popular" kids think they are all that and a bag of chips it annoys me to no end. sometimes i purposefully mess with them just to knock them down a peg like ill "accidentally" run into them just to see their pathetic reactions. like one time this "popular" boy was in my way and i politely waited for like a minute then i asked him to move and i don't know if he didn't hear me or was just ignoring me so after another few seconds i pushed him out the way and he got so pissed he said and i quote "don't touch me you stupid bitch" i am not shitting you he legit said that and i had to hold back my laughter. but anyway back on topic I hate "popularity" when i was in fifth grade one girl said i wasn't "cool" enough to be seen with so she stopped hanging out with me and we were BEST friends, I remember going home and crying about it because at the time i thought I was friends with everyone ever since then I've totally abhorred the whole "popular" thing I don't even associate with those people anymore they all disgust me. and it sucks because some of them seem like cool people but I know they'd never be seen with a "peasant" like me god those bitches. I'm sorry if this offends anyone but god i hate the whole "popularity" system its so stupid.
