Rui had been acting strangely for weeks, withdrawing from your connection and becoming aloof. Rui dismissed your concerns.You went up to him and demanded to know what was going on. Rui eventually broke down and admitted to you that he was cheating on you.
Anger and indignation coursed through your head as you attempted to make sense of what was happening.Rui apologized repeatedly "Please y/n! We can work this out right?", but you refused to accept his apologies. You was left feeling misled and heartbroken.
You two eventually broke up,suddenly came across an old photo of rui and you together doing experiments on robots, and while it shattered your hearts, it also provided some closure. Rui felt like he was stuck in a bottomless pit of despair whispering " Dammit i really loved you but i..i messed up, this isn't even me.".
