"So, how should we start this?" I asked.

"Beats me," he replied.

"Huh? I thought you knew a lot about this stuff."

"Why would you think that?"

"I saw you and the Professor talking after class. It seems like you guys are close."

"Ah, that's just because I work in his department at school. I don't really know much about this subject though since I just declared this concentration."

"So basically you're saying we're screwed since I just declared this concentration too. " I laughed.

"Well, maybe our other group mates will know what to do later on when they're here. Let's just try our best for now."

We spent about 20 minutes working until we found ourselves stuck.

"Should we ask some of our other classmates while we wait?" I suggested. He nodded before texting the class group chat. After that, we waited silently for a response.

"Y'know you caught me off guard earlier," I said, trying to fill in the silence.

"What do you mean?"

"When you came here early. You totally ruined my game," I joked.

"Hey, don't blame your loss on me. You probably just suck."

"I can already tell I'm better at games than you are."

"Yeah, because I don't play games. They're a waste of time."

"Or you're just bad."

"What were you even playing anyway?" he asked. When he did, I pulled out my phone to show him.

"Pokemon?"

"It's a fighting game. Try it."

"No thanks. The only game I'd consider playing is Tetris."

"Tetris? What are you, 80 years old?"

"Ah, don't even start. My birthday's coming up next month and I don't need to be reminded that I'm getting older," he said, putting his head into his hands.

"How old are you then?" I questioned.

"Twenty-one turning twenty-two," he replied.

"Are you serious? That's not even old."

"Yes, it is. I feel like I've done nothing but everything at the same time."

"When's your birthday?" I asked.

"At the end of February. So it's actually in a couple of weeks. How about you?"

"April."

"Ah, what a baby."

"Yeah, you're definitely older than me. I'm still twenty."

"Geez, you're going to make me feel worse."

"Just relax. But wait, is that a wrinkle I see?" I gasped.

He glared at me as I smiled.

"You should respect your elders," he said.

"We're only a year apart," I argued.

"Still, you seem immature."

Now it was my turn to glare at him as he smiled.

"Well, if Tetris is all you play, let's see how good you are," I said.

"My high score is 200,000."

"That doesn't seem that high."
