A place to be hidden...(Book #2)

    Satan was about to say something, but the roars and screeches of demons were heard in the distance. Sukuna was about to do something when Satan used the last of his powers to shove the king of curses, and the two teenage boys through the portal.

   "Dad! NO!" Rin called out.

   Satan smiled sadly.

   "I'll watch over you my son, I love you" Was the last thing Rin heard of his father before the portal closed with the sight of demons pouncing on Satan.

   "DAD!!!"

    Rin, Itadori and Sukuna landed on the grassy field of a forest when the portal closed. Rin instantly got up and tried to summon a portal, but it was no use. Itadori sat up and rubbed his head, Sukuna helped Itadori stand.

    "Fucking hell!" Rin cried out as he tried again.

   Itadori stood as he watched his best friend struggle to open a portal. Itadori and Sukuna were saddened, by now...Satan was probably torn to shreds by the demons. There was no way Satan survived that with how weak he is. Rin tried and tried as he cried and shouted curses.

    Rin fell to the ground and cried loudly. Rin... Lost his father again. First it was Shiro, now it was Satan. Rin screamed out his pain with his flames bursting out. Sukuna quickly shielded Itadori, which, Sukuna had his back burned from Rin's powerful hellfire. 

    "Sukuna!" Itadori called out. 

   The fire shrunk, but Rin was still surrounded by it, Sukuna kneeled down as Itadori looked over his burnt back. It was a third degree burn, Sukuna was indeed going to have a scar, and his nerves on his back were damaged.

    "Don't worry about me Itadori, I've had worse. Go check on Rin" Sukuna huffed out. 

    Itadori was worried "Are you sure?" Itadori asked.

   Sukuna nodded. Itadori nodded and walked over to Rin. Rin was hunched over, shaking and trembling.

   "R-....Rin?" Itadori asked. 

   ".....D....Da....Dad...." Rin's voice quivered.

    Itadori kneeled down, he was risking getting burned, but he hugged Rin. Itadori held in a hiss of pain, the flames were indeed burning him, but before it could get worse, Rin removed Itadori off of him.

   "Don't touch me while I'm like this" Rin said.

   Itadori looked saddened "Rin..." Itadori didn't know what to say or do.

    Sukuna got up and walked over to them.

   "Rin, by tradition... You are now the king of hell. You're able to kill the rest of the demon race to avenge your father." Sukuna said.

    Itadori looked from Sukuna, to Rin. Rin's face still had the look of horror, sadness, and betrayal.

    "I....I.." 

    "You don't have to say anything, all you need to do is prove your power, and the demons will obey you" Everyone turned behind Sukuna, there was Lucifer.

   Rin was still shaking. Lucifer walked over to his little brother.

   "Rin, I know losing father is painful, trust me, the others and I are doing our best to try to hold back the demons, but more and more keep appearing, and along with curses that are Sukuna's job, it's becoming a hassle. Rin, you need to show your hellfire, and show the demons whose boss" Lucifer said, kneeling in front of Rin.

    "But how? Dad took away my ability to go back to Gehenna" Rin choked out.

    "No, he took away your ability to go, but he didn't take away mine" Lucifer said.

    Rin looked up to Lucifer, hope in his eyes. Lucifer frowned.

   "I... Sadly I can't promise that father is alive, but I know father would've wanted you to be the next ruler of hell" Lucifer said.

    Rin looked down. Itadori stepped forward a bit.

   "C-can't we give Rin time to think if he wants to?" Itadori asked worriedly.

   Lucifer shook his head "No, he needs to decide now" Lucifer said sternly.

    Rin felt some sort of pressure, but he was willing. For his father.

   "Fine, I'll do it..."

{I can't tell if it's good, but I'm listening to "Dragula" by Rob Zombie while I write all of this, and the song is on loop.... It's a vibe tho}

   Eyes fluttered open, all around was a plain white sky, and a light green grassy field. The male sat up and rubbed his head.

   "The fuck am I?" He asked.

   "Watch your language Satan.." 

   The male, known as Satan turned his head and his eyes widened when he saw who it was. He teared up.

   "D...Dad?" He asked, his voice quivering.

    The male smiled, his short snow white hair shined, his plain white eyes showed that of care.

   "Yes my son" He said.

   Satan gasped, got up and ran to him. Satan jumped in his arms, giving his father a tight hug. His father laughed and hugged his son tighter.

    "I know, I know, I'm here now.." He said soothingly.

   "I... I thought I'd never see you again" Satan quietly sobbed out.

    "I'm here now" He said.

   "I... I tried my best as the king of hell father... I tried" Satan said.

   "Shh, it's okay. All demon kings have their own way of ruling Gehenna" He said.

    He pulled back, meeting eyes with Satan's eyes. He smiled.

   "I know that young Rin Itadori will do just fine being the next king of Gehenna" He said.

   Satan seemed surprised "How'd you kno-"

    "Demon kings tend to see all from up here" Satan's father said.

    Satan smiled "I see" He said.

    "I can also tell that Rin will be a merciless king, a perfect demon king if I can say" He said.

   Satan frowned "He seemed hesitant when I asked if he wanted to be" Satan said, pulling away.

   "Don't worry, he'll be a great king. Any ways, lets get going" He said.

    Satan seemed confused "Go where?" 

    "Anywhere" He said, Satan following behind him.

A/N: Okay, I had to update real quick. I have an F in both my art class (How the fuck did that happen?) and an F in my history class (In my defense, the teacher is fucking confusing, She side tracks a lots and just doesn't make any sense). I needa raise those grades up until tomorrow which isn't really a lot of time, and it'll be hell for me.

     So yea, I probably won't update again until I get this whole shit all figured out. And the last thing I need is being lectured for my grades and verbally belittled by my mother and step-father by my low grades.
