Chapter Five: the first concert

(Rory POV)

After the performance of mine and Bill's new song he left the stage and the other girls entered with their equipment. "you want more?" I said as the crowd cheered. "Then how 'bout we give you more LA!" I shouted as they cheered louder. I was on the second stage before starting the song. "I can see a major system error in you." I sang as the girls started to play and the lights changed colors. "You think one plus seven, seven, seven makes two." the crowd jumped and screamed while the larger camera for the tv broadcast moved showing the crowd. "If your story ever, ever, ever came true Can you keep it together, ah? Can you keep it together, ah?" I sang before there was a small break before going back to the man stage.

There Hannah was in the back filming us along with the boys who cheered and smiled. I made eye contact with Tom and he smiled brightly at me. I would be lying if I didn't say I had butterflies. "Don't make me pick, don't make me choose." I sang as the large camera zoomed closer to me from above getting a cool shot for the broadcast and the bigger screen. "I count my blessings, you refused. And don't give me signals from you too." I turned to Riley and Jara and saw they had already messed up their hair and played their instruments perfectly. "I don't think you're fake, I think you're real, yeah-" "I don't need your advice." The crowd sang after pointing the mic to them which sounded perfect. "I see a major system error in you. The steam machines shot steam up as we played. "And don't make me pick, don't make me choose." I faced the crowd as I saw Hannah basically come on stage getting better shots of us. She never was one to care for security or safety performance.

"You count and cry and scream "I'm through" and don't give me signals from you too. You think your fake but I think your real." the lights change from a bright red to a blue. It caught me off guard slightly since my eyesight had to adjust. "I don't need your advice. I can see a major system error in you. You think one plus seven, seven, seven make two. If your story ever, ever, ever came true. Can you keep it together? Can you keep it together?" the crowd sang along as I saw the boys singing as well. Bill looked the most excited. Gustav was dancing a little. Georg was bobbing his head. Tom was almost as hyper as his brother, still with his stupid smile on. I finished singing the song as Hannah kneeled in front of me from a short distance taking photos and a video. She smiled at it like an idiot and ran back to the boys whispering something to Bill. making him look at the camera smiling. The crowd cheered as Rain began the next song.
