(third POV)

A few days later the two bands were finally about to play in New York but the tension was high. "You're the only one who's mad!" Tom yelled glaring at Rory. "Damn straight. You made a personal blow." she spat back as the other band members stared at them and at each other confused. No one knew why they were fighting. The two were completely fine yesterday. "All I said was that you need to keep your attitude in check. You're acting like your mother." Tom said as the other girls gave a collective oh in realization. Rory hated being compared to her mother. "I didn't have a fucking attitude till you made one! I was chill! You made it seem like I was acting like a bitch to you!" Rory snapped as the tour bus came to a stop. "Well, you're acting like one now. It's not my fault you're getting all psycho." Tom said as Riley moved in front of Rory who was now standing up. "If anyone is being a bitch it's you! You started a problem with me!" Rory yelled and started to lose her voice as Alohi got on the bus. "Rory, go to the van. Now." she demanded as Rory walked off. Alohi grabbed her stuff before getting off and the tour bus started moving again. Riley sighed before she turned to Tom. "Next time don't compare Rory to our mom." she said before going to the back of the bus. Tom gave her a look before slouching. "How did this even start?" Bill asked as everyone looked at him.

Earlier that morning

Rory woke in her hotel room feeling sick. She was dizzy and nauseous. She automatically knew it from the food that she had eaten from the day before. After a while she met up with everybody in the lobby discussing plans. Rory stayed silent because of the way she was feeling. Riley and Rain knew she was off but didn't know why. But they weren't going to pry. Growing up they knew on days when Rory was off or just plain upset for an unknown reason they knew better than to try and talk it out with her. Rory was the type to suffer in silence and if you questioned her or if you had an attitude about it then she would be like a ticking time bomb. She can't control her emotions as well and just wants silence. Jara and Blair knew this as well. They would usually keep a distance from her knowing how easily annoyed she gets. The boys noticed her upsetting aura but didn't questioned. As everyone talked and laughed Rory sat there fidgeting with the new necklace Tom gave her. The loud atmosphere gave her a migraine so Rory stood up, went to her bag and took tylenol before heading back to the group. Tom walked past her smiling before give her a look. "Are you finally gonna be nice or are you gonna be all grouchy again." he joked as Rory glared at him but stayed silent. "Oh, come on. You can't have a bitchy attitude all day." he joked again, hoping to get through to her. But it didn't. "Bitchy? I was minding my fucking business?" she questioned. Tom gave her a look. "You've been giving us dirty looks all day for no reason." he said, narrowing his eyes at her. "But did I say anything? No. so, just shut up and leave me alone." she spat before walking off. It only escalated from there.

Later that day

Everyone was no at the concert hall. Everyone except for Rory was preparing their instruments. "Where's Rory?" Jara asked, concerned. "She messed up her voice earlier so Alohi is getting her checked out." Rain said after coming from the medical station. Rory still wasn't talking to anyone. A few minutes later Naomi walked in stressed. "I have bad news." she said as everyone looked at her. "We are going to have to postpone the concert to next friday due Rory's vocal loss." she announced. "Is she okay?" Bill asked. "She's fine. She can speak and what not but her voice is too damaged to sing tonight." she answered. "So, what do we do now?" Blair asked. "For right now just take it easy until friday." Naomi said before leaving the room. Riley quickly packed up and went to Rory. Rory changed into some leggings and an oversized hoodie. Riley entered the room as Rory pulled her hood over her head. "Are you okay?" She questioned knowing she might not get an answer. And that's exactly what happened. Rory stayed quiet. She grabbed her bags and walked past her sister and made her way to the hotel.
