Holiday Hijinks Part 2

On the Island of Sodor at a boxing gym at Tidmoth, Abigail Bones had been training with Myra to build up her confidence in time for the week before Yzma's challenge would come to an end which meant that she had to wake up, get a grip and make the biggest decision she ever made since her nephew by marriage and his wife wound up murdered.

"Dig deep! Come on Abby," Myra yelled, "Fight it! Find the fire within you."

"I'm trying," Abby retorted as she hit the punching bag with her fists, "But I'm not a boxer or a fighter. I was born into a family of bankers and investors remember?"

"I come from a rich family too but I train to stay in shape every single day," the Vampire retorted, "Now dig deep and show me what you got. Show me you are a leader!"

Abby fought with all she had as she kept hitting the bag with her fists. With each hit Abby could feel herself getting strong in both body and a little bit in heart and mind as well.

'All this time I let my fear of Varis Malfoy blind me to what needed to be done,' the Vice Chair of the Hogwarts Board of Governors thought, 'I let that fear destroy me. That fear kept me from doing what was needed to move forward with change.'

At the same time Lords Arkwright, Roberts, and Perkins were watching the training with Jubal Bones in attendance as they discussed what was going on.

"Abby is starting to grow a backbone during these past weeks," Lord Gabriel Roberts said, "She'll need it considering she has a big decision to make not to mention the fallout that's sure to come. As we all know by now Abigail Bones is dead terrified of Varis Malfoy and for good reason."

"We're all aware of that but here's the worst part," said Jubal, "Varis Malfoy is not all talk like most pureblood supremacists. He actually has the strength and magic to back up his claims."

"Were you and Varis in the same house Jubal?" Lord Callum Arkwright asked seriously.

"No, I was in Gryffindor House and the first one in my family to be sorted into a house other than Hufflepuff," Jubal said, "Ezio was in the same house as Varis and so were Yzma and Claudia. If you want to know more about Varis I suggest talking to Ezio, Yzma, Claudia, and Howard. Howard was in the same year as Varis but he was in Ravenclaw whereas Ezio, Yzma, and Claudia were all in Slytherin House and so was Varis."

"We will be sure to remember that but either way we have other issues," Lord Milton Perkin asked. "My sister and her husband are visiting Germany to visit their daughter in law's family and they took the kids and grandkids along for the ride. Turns out this isn't just a vacation; the German Ministry wants Myra's help with something and their Magical Counter-terrorism unit believes it could be something of great power or great value but with half the terrorists in the Magical and Muggle worlds working for Kai and Arcanon respectively there's practically nothing they can do about it."

"Either way I did hear from some of my contacts there that some energon deposits were discovered by the German Muggles but due to its nature for some reason only Steam Engines can transport the energon safely and get near it," said Lord Gabriel Roberts, "That and for some reason Arkeyan magic and magic in general only works well with Steam powered technology such as Steam Locomotives, Traction Engines, and Steam ships."

"Remember we may have been born on planet earth but we are still Arkeyan Weapon Masters so earth technology is pretty primitive compared to Arkeyan Technology," Lord Callan Arkwright stated, "And that's not to speak of the technology the enemies of the Arkeyan Weapon Masters have at their disposal. Such as something to revive the dead."

Jubal, Gabriel, and Milton knew what that meant, the forces of darkness were about to get even bolder which meant that things were about to get much worse before they got much better.
