~Orcs, Wargs and Rhosgobel rabbis ~
The company was exhausted to say the least. "We may rest now but by noon we must carry on!" Spoke Thorin walking to the rest of the company. My father had found the troll's cave and myself and a few others went to investigate."This place is a gold mine", one of the dwarfs walking behind me whispered. It is true the floor was a sea of coins and jewels. Ada used his staff to dig up a treasure. He stopped and brushed aside the debris covering the object, revealing a sword coated with dust and cobwebs.
He handed it to Thorin, who unsheathed the blade. It had the most beautiful marks and engravings, although it was dusty it still had its sharp, shiny tint to it making the sword all the more better for war. "The blade is of elvish make", I blurted, eyeing another sword for myself. Thorin grunted and moved to discard the weapon back to its original place, "You will not find a better blade than these", Gandalf said sharply. Thorin gave him a murderous look and fastened him new sword to his belt. I turned around, observing this exchange quietly and some dwarves had filled a small box like chest with gold and jewels and lowered it into a newly dug pit. "What in Arda are you doing?" I was quite confused.
"We're makin' a long-term deposit", Gloin growled and shoveled dirt back into the ditch covering the chest. I giggled and looked around, grabbing my weapon. I took a rather light bow and a quiver as well. I found a rather beautiful sword lying on the floor. I took a spear knife as well and put it in my shoe. The bow and quiver I had previously were removed and replaced with new ones before they were put on my back. I put a few coins in a small bag and attached them to
Everyone else followed me while I looked around the forest. The trees around us began to rustle. My body tensed and my hand went straight to my sword gripping it. As we pulled out our weapons, the trees shook more, forming a line of dwarves' destruction.
Out of the tree line burst out a small, peculiar looking little man with a brown hat on a sled being pulled by large rabbits,"Thieves!" He gasped, "Fire! Murder!" I knew who it was. No one other than my uncle Radagast the brown. "UNCLE!" I shouted and ran to the short man. "Radagast, what are you doing in these parts?" My father asked. I knelt down and hugged him. "Ah my favorite niece." Said Radagast. "I'm still your only niece." I chuckled. "I was looking for you, Gandalf. I have some grave news." Stammered the brown wizard. "Come, we must speak quickly!" Said my father. "Carnen stay here I'll call you if need be." Snapped my father. Whatever was to happen it was not good.
I went to find Killi. He was sitting at the foot of some trees. "Room for one more?" I asked. "Of course!" Killi smiled. I sat. He pulled a small flask from his jacket. My brow raised. "I found it in the troll's cave, want some?" He handed me the flask and I took a sip. After some time my ears heard something horrible. They were orcs.
Killi and I ran to the others. "CARNEN KILLI GET YOU BOWS OUT", Thorin roared. We did as he said. As he said that all of the pack of wargs and Orcs surrounded our company. "Warg scouts", Thorin grunted, freeing his blade from the carcass, "Which means an orc pack is not far behind"
"Orc pack", Bilbo gulped , his eyes wide.
"Who did you tell about your quest beyond your kin?", Ada demanded.
"No one", Thorin said honestly.
"Who did you tell?", yelled my Father
"No one I swear", Thorin retaliated, his voice matching Gandalf's fury.
Gandalf sighed and Thorin asked, "What in Durins name is going on?"
"You are being hunted", I shouted to him.
"We have to get out of here", Dwalin said in a panic
More wargs howled within the distance. Shivers raced down my spine. "I'll draw them off", radasgast said bravely.
"These are gundabad wargs. They will outrun you", Gandalf said."These are Rhosgobel rabbits", Radagast shot back, "I'd like to see them try!" Radagast jumped onto his sled without any other phrase and raced away, drawing off the howling orc pack."Come on", Ada said to us. "What about the ponys?" Asked Gloin. "They will be fine. I just casted an enchantment that will ensure they are no more than 4 miles behind us." I stated running in with Kez, my father's horse behind me. "Smart thinking child." Father said, jumping on his steed. "What about the rest of us?" Asked Bomber. "We run." Replied Thorin.
I clicked the reins on Kez and we were off in a flash throughout the plain. I was counting on Radasgast to present us time. The dwarfs ran and ran, till Radasgast got here into our sight again. We came to a quick stop.
"Stay together", Gandalf hissed, "Move" Thorin ordered
The comy sprinted inside the contrary direction. The percent got here a long way too near us a long way too near for my taste. At the final second, they all ducked at the back of a rock.
"All of you, come on. Quick", I motioned towards the rest of the company.
"Where are you leading us?", Thorin asked in a harsher tone.
I did not answer. They kept running. I thought we had been secure and concealed in the back of every other bunch of rocks we stopped at briefly. Until I heard a lonely orc from the shelf above us. The creature itself growled deep in its throat, and the warg sniffed impatiently and poked his feet.
Thorin gave me a look, and I knew what that meant. It took no Hesitation And myself and Killi grabbed an arrow and right away stepped lower back quickly, letting the weapon fly, and pricing the warg into its cold, gross throat.
It screamed an ear piercing scream badly and fell to the ground till. . Dwalin and Dori slaughtered the rider creature, earlier than yelling and screeching sufficient to attract the whole percent of orcs to us.
The pack deserted the chase on Radagast and began to journey toward us with extra velocity than earlier.
"Move", yelled Gandalf frantically. "Run" I shouted
The wargs chased us for a while, however it turned into a long enough distance that we didn't dare to gradual down a mild bit. I could feel
Kez growing tired and weak."There they are!" Gloin yelled. Ada called a little farther away and spoke, "This way, quickly", all ran towards Gandalf, "There's more coming", Kili screamed, who seemed to have fallen behind.
"SHOOT THEM!", Thorin roared.
I jumped off of Kez and went to Kili's side without a second of thought, I hit Kez on the but to run towards Rivendell. I knew she'd be there along with the others. I nocked an arrow and let it fly. It killed an orc, however now no longer the warg that it rode. "We're surrounded", Fili yelled, who unsheathed his sword very dramatically.
Kili picked off every other orc, every body else was drawing their weapons and standing at the ready prepared to fight.
"Where's Gandalf?", Dori asked looking through the trees. "He's abandoned us!", Dwalin stated, standing in a group with four or five of the others.
And then the courageous little Ori brought his slingshot and fired a rock at the pinnacle of a warg. It simply growled at him, advancing quickly. He appeared terrified.
"Hold your ground", bellowed Thorin, his elven blade gleaming.
"This way, you fools", Gandalf cried, popping out from behind a rock.
"Oh, thanks for joining us", I screamed, only mildly angry.
Thorin noticed him and yelled for everybody to retreat to the rock and to get to safety. They all began out to run in the direction of him, besides for Kili and me, who desired no orc left respiratory. Thorin hacked down a warg and yelled, "Kili! Carnen! Run!"
We glanced at each other before retreating. I followed Filli down into the darkness of the cave diving over the stone. Kili and Thorin followed close behind, scrambling down as I returned to a standing position. "Ada why must you pick this path every time to enter Rivendell?" I asked as my father Lit his staff. "Because it is the best way to enter," he snapped.
After some time we finally entered Rivendell. A sense of hope washed over me. The Dwarfs stood in amazement. "The valley of Imladris, in the common tongue it's known by another name." He paused. "Rivendell" answered Bilbo, his lips forming a long forgotten smile. Thorin looked at me. I could feel his anger. But I didn't care. This place was so peaceful and so serene.
