Chapter 16: New boyfriend

However, her eyes landed on the title of the article and she clicked in.

'The daughter and heir of the Kim Corporation's relationship revealed'. Not many people knew that she was the daughter of the Kim family, so whoever posted this definitely got information from someone that knew her.

But, everyone would know her now.

'The second daughter and heir to the Kim Corporation was caught walking out of a hotel room with a mystery man on 6/3/20XX. At the young age of 22, the heir to the He Corporation, Kim Lalisa, had already lost her innocence before marriage. What do you think about this?'

The comments below were all against Lalisa as they said things like,

'That is disgusting! Young girls like her are so disgraceful and unfilial! If my daughter ever does this with a random man, I will disown her!'

'Wow, this is the first time I've seen a real image of Lalisa. I have heard the name before, but I didn't know a rich family daughter could be this pretty.'

'Reply: So what if she's pretty and rich, she is a horrible person. Going to sleep with random men!'

'I go to the same school as Lalisa, and I heard that she is dating some senior from my school. I kind of want to see his reaction when he sees this news that his girlfriend is cheating on him with some other random man.'

'Reply: What?! Maybe Lalisa hired that man to sleep with her. I mean. . . she's rich so it is highly possible! B

There was a picture at the bottom of the article before the comment section. Lalisa immediately recognized the woman in the picture to be her. She was looking to the side so one half of her face was revealed, and it was easy to distinguish the face.

She was in a hotel hallway and there was a man walking beside her. Lalisa knit her eyebrows together when she saw the familiar black suit and body build.

That was. . . Jungkook!

Lalisa walked down the stairs slowly and sat down at the dining table, "Good morning."

She yawned, ignoring the tense atmosphere around her. Eunha had a smirk on her face, and she didn't try at all to hide it.

On the other hand, Li Huiran was pretending to act concerned as she stared at Lalisa with worry on her face. Who knew what was behind the worry?

Bai Jiawei had his eyebrows deeply furrowed together, and his breathing was so loud Eunha could hear it two seats away.

"What's wrong?" Lalisa asked as she calmly picked up a slice of bacon.

Eunha laughed when she heard that, "Lisa, did you not see the news today yet?"

Before Lalisa could respond, Bai Jiawei had slammed his fork onto the table, "Kim Lalisa, how dare you hire men outside and sleep with them!"

Lisa raised one eyebrow and looked towards Li Huiran. Looks like someone had been whispering lies to her dad this morning. . .

"Dad, what do you mean?"

Bai Jiawei got even more angry, "I know I don't approve of you dating Sehun, but that doesn't mean you can go outside and sleep with some random man!"

He Xinyan took another bite of the crispy bacon and calmly replied, "Oh, I forgot to tell you, dad. I broke up with Sehun."

"Really?" Bai Jiawei's anger disappeared for a second. Sehun was in the middle class and had no great background, so obviously Bai Jiawei didn't approve of him.

Bai Jiawei cleared his throat and his angry expression came back, "That's good, however, that doesn't mean you are allowed to hire male escorts!"

"Who says I hired male escorts?"

Eunha threw her phone onto the table at Lalisa, "Then how do you explain this? You walking out of a hotel room with another man you don't even know."

Lalisa took a quick glance at the picture and smiled, "I know him, he is my new boyfriend!"

This time, even Eunha was shocked as the grim expression on her face disappeared.

"New boyfriend? The guy in the image?" Bai Jiawei asked. Lalisa nodded her head before taking a sip of orange juice.

"How old is he? What does he do? What does his family do?"

Lalisa suppressed the urge to roll her eyes as she replied, "He's four years older than me. He's definitely more rich than Sehun."

She knew that as long as her new boyfriend was richer than her old boyfriend, Bai Jiawei wouldn't ask anything further.

Bai Jiawei nodded his head, "Good. . . good. . . Lili, you finally realized that Sehun isn't good enough for you. Bring your new boyfriend over for dinner some time."

Lalisa nodded her head and wiped her lips with a napkin before standing up, "I'm done. I'll be going back to my room now."

Bai Jiawei nodded his head as he began to eat his breakfast too. Lalisa took one look at Eunha and smiled slyly.

"Dad. . ."

Bai Jiawei looked up at Lalisa.

"Older sister also has good news. I learned that after I broke up with Sehun, he's dating Eunha now! They are very, very in love. . ."

After she had finished talking, Lalisa hurried up the stairs and away from sight. Bai Jiawei slowly turned his gaze over to his older daughter, Eunha.

"Eunha, is Lili saying the truth?"

"I -" Eunha looked towards her mom for help, but her mom also didn't know that she was dating Sehun. In the beginning, she had only seduced Sehun because she knew that he liked Lalisa, and she wanted to prove that she was more attractive than Lalisa.

However, their relationship ended up to be longer than she expected.

Noticing Eunha's expression, Bai Jiawei was more certain that Eunha was now dating the poor and useless guy.

"Li Eunha, do you have no face?! Picking up your younger sister's trash!"

Eunha's face turned green after Bai Jiawei said that. She was together with Sehun longer than Lalisa but of course, she couldn't say that right now.

"I thought you had better taste in men since you stayed single for so long, but I am wrong! You are even worse than your sister. At least Lili can learn from her mistakes and improve! Look at you! Were you not listening when I was lecturing your sister all this time? Your sister throws Sehun away, and a second later, you go on to pick him up! Are you a trash collector?! Hmph!"

Bai Jiawei threw his fork onto the table, creating a loud bang, and he walked away. A minute later, the front door slammed, signaling that Bai Jiawei had left for work.

"Eunha, what are you talking about? You're dating Sehun?" Li Huiran turned to ask her daughter.

Eunha bit her lips and looked down. After a long time of dating, she realized that Sehun wasn't actually too bad. At least he was handsome and romantic. . .

"What is wrong with you?" Li Huiran glared at her stupid daughter, "You could date someone so much better. Hurry up and dump him!"

Eunha shook her head, "No! Trust me, mom. I have a feeling Sehun's company will do well. If his company becomes successful later on, just wait for Lis to regret her decision. Who could she be dating right now? It's probably another normal guy, but Sehun has potential. His company is already growing, and it will also help me in my entertainment career."

Li Huiran was still not fully convinced as she angrily stood up, "How are you my daughter? You have to dream bigger and reach farther. There are so much better men out there!"

Upstairs, Lalisa sat on her couch inside her room and clicked on a phone number.

"Hello. . ."
