Chapter 55: Cooking vs Eating

"Looks like not all of my fans are cute."

"Tch -" Rosè couldn't hold it in and she let out a quick laugh, which made Eunha angry.

"Rosè, shouldn't assistants be standing? Let me sit on your chair."

This angered Lisa, and she was about to shoo Eunha away when she saw Jimin suddenly stand up from the corner of her eyes.

"I want her to sit here. Do you have a problem with that?"

Rosè looked up at Jimin gratefully and she felt as her heartbeat sped up. Wow, her idol was so manly!

Eunha didn't expect this to happen and she took a step back nervously, "I - Well, if Senior Jeon says so, I'll go get another chair then."

Eunha quickly ran off and came back a few seconds later with a foldable chair in her hands. She then sat down to the left of Jimin, who seemed very angry about having to sit next to Eunha.

Without even acknowledging Eunha, Jimin turned to his right and asked, "Guys, can we move to the other side? I don't know why, but there is suddenly this really disgusting perfume smell. I can't stand it."

Ji-eun was the first to stand up, "Sure."

Eunha watched as the four of them folded their chairs and walked over to the other side of the camera, and her face turned green from embarrassment.

'Why are they so close to Lisa?! What did Lisa do? That vixen. . . All she does is seduce men!' Eunha took a deep breath and awkwardly stood up before walking away with her head held high.

Rosè watched her and burst out laughing, "Hahahaha. . . Mr. Jeon thank you for helping me earlier!"

"No problem," Jimin responded.

"Lili, don't get too close with your stepsister. I can already tell she is a fake white lotus. . ." Ji-eun whispered to Lisa.

"Don't worry, Sister Ji-eun. I know."

The break ended quickly and Ji-eun left to film her first two scenes. Lisa, Rosè, and Jimin also stood up to go watch her as she filmed.

She finished quickly with one take on each scene, and then it was Lisa's turn. They were going to finish her scene and then it was time for lunch.

"Fighting, Lili!" Jimin put two thumbs up and smiled cutely.

It took a few minutes for the camera to set up on the long stone passage that led up to the large hall. The sun was out since it was noon already, and filming quickly began.

The first scene was the one Lisa used for her audition when Concubine Xi first entered the palace. She carried a sack with a few of her belongings and entered a completely new place where she would spend the rest of her life.

To her surprise, Lisa finished the scene in one take, and the director seemed to be quite satisfied.

"Lunch break is thirty minutes! Gather here at the Gate of Supreme Harmony in thirty minutes!"

The Gate of Supreme Harmony was the hall where the emperor met with his ministers, and it was where the crew was supposed to meet up most of the days.

Lisa met up with Rosè, then Jimin and Ji-eun, and they ate lunch together. They arranged their chairs into a circle and chatted as they ate.

The rest of the day went by smoothly as they filmed a few more scenes, and the first workday was over. The first day of filming was much better than what Losa had expected.

Somehow, she managed to make a friend already, and coincidentally, her boyfriend's younger brother was the first male lead!

After parting ways with Jimin and Ji-eun, Lisa happily drove home with Rosè.

It was late at night already, and after Lisa arrived at the street of her apartment, she texted her dad saying she would eat dinner with Rosè, and walked straight up the porch to Jungkook's house.

Lisa was about to pull her keys out when she realized that the door was unlocked. Was Jungkook home already? Lisa looked around when she stepped in and bent down to change her shoes into slippers.

When she looked back up, Jungkook was standing right in front of her.

"Ah! Do you not make any sound when you walk?"

"I - I. . ." Jungkook pointed back and forth and didn't know what to say. Lisa chuckled before pushing him back into the living room.

"How was filming today?" Jungkook asked as they sat down together on the couch and Lisa opened a bag of chips to eat.

"It was good! I did well and I made some friends. Why didn't you tell me Jimin was your brother?"

Jungkook frowned slightly, "You met him?"

"Yep, we are friends now! He's quite different from you."

Jungkook watched as Lisa ate several chips at once and smiled, "Don't get too close to him. He's a bad influence."

Lisa laughed. How could he talk about his brother like that?

"Oh, I'm also friends with my idol! Do you know Lee Ji-eun?"

Jungkook's expression changed slightly as he raised one eyebrow, "Heard of her before."

"She's my favorite actress. She is actually really sweet, and her, Jimin, Rosie, and me are friends now."

Jungkook smiled warmly as he looked down at the chatty Lisa next to him. She sat with her legs crossed and would occasionally stuff a few chips into her mouth when she wasn't talking.

"Did you eat dinner yet?"

Lisa pouted, "No, I'm hungry. The food they give on the set is really bad." Lisa rubbed her empty stomach and looked up pitifully at Jungkook.

"I'll go cook," Jungkook said as he stood up.

"Yay, I'll go help," Lisa said as she dropped the bag of chips and stood up too. However, to her disappointment, Jungkook turned around immediately and replied firmly, "No."

"Why? My cooking skills improved after the omelette rolls! Didn't you say they were good?"

". . ." Jungkook kind of regretted lying to her now.

"Um. . . Lili, to be honest, you aren't really the best at cooking. You can leave the cooking to me, okay?"

Lisa seemed a little upset as she sat back down, "Okay. . . I'll just stick with eating then."

Jungkook rubbed her head gently before walking into the kitchen. He quickly decided what to make and grabbed the ingredients out of the fridge.

After putting an apron on, he began cooking. He didn't seem to notice the small body hiding behind the wall sneakily watching him.

Lisa seemed to be daydreaming as she stared at the back of Jungkook. How could his back view even be so handsome?!

In a casual black shirt and sweatpants, Jungkook seemed to look even more handsome and young, as his usual suit created a more mature feel.

Lisa watched him for a while before she slowly walked back to the couch to finish her chips.

They ate dinner together and after Jungkook had washed the dishes, he went upstairs and into his office for a virtual meeting.

Lisa found some fresh fruits inside the refrigerator, and then found some thick gloves. After putting the gloves on, she slowly sliced the fruits, and to her surprise, she didn't end up accidentally cutting her fingers. However, in the end, the gloves were a little destroyed.

Lisa walked up to the second floor, carrying her plate of different shaped fruits; some extremely large and some a little too small.

She knocked gently before stepping into the room, and her eyes widened when she saw Jungkook.
