After countless hours of hard work and dedication pointed towards getting into Berkeley, Liz was approaching the last leg of the race.

Today was a very important day, and she'd gotten up early, going through the long process of getting ready. Something that would normally take her roughly one hour, had instead taken up three hours of her morning.

After all, her anxiety was through the roof as this was the most important thing in her life right now. It was expected that she'd go a little bit crazy the morning of her last interview.

She was running late for obvious reasons after nearly burning off her hair with her curly iron, spilling her coffee all over her new blouse, and not knowing the whereabouts of her shoes she set out especially for this occasion.

Liz sped down the street as she tied up her hair, reciting what little she remembered from the speech she planned on giving in appreciation for this once in a lifetime opportunity.

"Thank you for your time, I really appreciate your willingness to..." She shook her head, irritation plastered across her features due to her anxiety-effected mind.

"I am so grateful for this opportunity, words cannot express my gratitude for..." She huffed, nearly pouted even, again shooting down her attempts to sound normal, and also pristine.

"I am incredibly thankful to you for considering me. Computer science is a passion of mine..." She chuckled as if whoever was interviewing her would too, a scowl then sounding in succession to her idiocy. "Too much."

She rounded the corner of the street the building was on, features morphing from agitation towards herself to fear for the interview.

She shook off the bad feeling, because this meant too much and she was too close to let the suffocating voice in her head take control...

That's when your friendly neighborhood Spiderman decided to swing by.

Liz turned around abruptly at the sound of Peter crashing right into the building she was walking by, seamlessly shaking off the pain and catching up with her. "Hey! Hi."

"Hi." She replied, looking over his cheek as he rubbed the ache away, wondering why on earth he would risk swinging around without his suit to hide his identity.

"Hi, I gotta talk to you for a second." He spoke out of breath.

She shook her head, beginning to back towards the building. "I'm actually running late right now."

Peter was hot on her heel, following her obliviously into the Berkeley admissions building. "It's just gonna take a second."

     "I can't. I'm sorry, Peter—"

"Just give me one minute. I just wanna say one thing—just one thing and I'm gone." He held out his hands in front of her insistently after halting her path to the front desk. "Everything's a mess. Everything's insane."
