Dana's pov -
Please place those delicious looking lips onto mine. Please grab my waist and pull me towards your warm body. Please leave marks on my body so I can admire them in the morning like a weirdo.
Please
I watched as his beautiful lips move while looking at me, I'm pretty sure he's talking to me but here I am thinking of something so unholy while he has no idea.
I've finally realize what these feelings I have been having are, and for sure definitely they aren't the ones you expect from a hijabi.
I'm never going to have it though, it's just matter of our religion.
I felt a warm big hand touch my hand which is rested on the table. I'm brought back to reality. I look at him as he was talking to the waiter.
"Oh—I'm sorry, I blanked out." I probably looked like a complete idiot. Greys a bad influence.
"She'll have the Spaghetti Bolognese." He said and the waiter nodded and walked away. I stared at the menu, what did he order me—- oh god! This has meat. I looked up at him.
"Grey, this has unknown meat." I whispered in a serous tone and he smiled slightly, "it's beef." He replied dryly.
Beef? Even worse. I stared at him blankly to his response. Men— I swear. "Fine." I replied with slight annoyance and signaled the waiter to come back.
"It's halal." His deep voice said and watched me in amusement while I stared at him not knowing if I should trust his words.
"I'll kill you with my own bare hands if you—" before I can finish my threat a mans voice caught me off guard. I looked up from grey to the waiter with a smile looking at me.
I was going to ask him if the pasta is halal but his eyes caught me off guard. This can't be real. Am I dreaming? Is this true?! Please tell me I'm hallucinating.
His red eyes were too familiar, his eyes looked like he does a lot of drugs. His pale looking face with a couple of cuts on them. My eyes narrowed slightly at him.
Greys right there so if he pulls anything Grey will get him. "Uh—never mind, can I order some water." I said and looked down at the menu pretending to read it.
"Okay, anything else? Some juice? Food..." I shot my head to him, is he trying to— oh god. He's the man from the other night. He's the one who pointed the gun at me.
"No." Grey said still staring at me while replying to the weirdo. He stared at me like I'm some treat. Of course he's staring at me, I'm diamond.
"Okay..but have we met?" The man asked me, I looked at him clenching my jaw slightly. "Maybe." I replied staring at him then down to his very thin waist, there has to be a gun there.
"Yes of course, the lady from a night ago." He chuckled and not in a sweet way. It sounded bitter.
He's the man from that night— the night I found out his boss is the one behind the murder. The stench also gave it away.
I watch as he walked away limping slightly. I look back at grey who was watching the weirdo with a hawk like gaze. Man's a detective, of course he found all that weird.
"Who's that." His deep voice spoke while he turned his head toward me after, scrutinize the waiter.
I give myself a few seconds to think of what to say. I hate to lie but I feel like I've been lying so much lately that It feels too easy and normal now.
"I met him at work..he was hurt so I helped him." I said smiling and immediately pretend to check my phone as if I'm expecting a message or pretending to check the time. I just don't want him to see right through me.
