Jungkook cut the cake after the awkward silence between them. He cut a small piece and walked over to Taehyung. He moved it toward him, and Taehyung hesitated to take a bite.
"Say 'ahh~'," the idol sang.
Taehyung eventually gave up and opened his mouth.
"How is it?" Jungkook asked. Taehyung didn't reply but took the leftover cake from Jungkook and moved it toward him. Jungkook's smile widened as he ate it without hesitation.
"Hmm~ it's too good!" Jungkook moaned out after tasting the cake. Taehyung blushed very hard, lowering his head and unsure of what to do next.
"Want a milkshake?" Jungkook asked with excitement. He just wanted to spend some time with Taehyung.
"This hour?" Taehyung asked with a disbelieving face, noting that it was almost one o'clock.
"Yes! Follow me now!" Jungkook said and started to walk out.
"Alright, birthday boy," Taehyung whispered so Jungkook couldn't hear him.
He came down and saw Jungkook in the kitchen, softly humming a song and cutting strawberries.
"Look, i'm fair with everyone else but you..now i can't live a day without you, " jungkook sing softly, and taehyung leans on the wall with a small lovesick smile on face.
"Please hold me tight, hug me oh no.." jungkook turn and look through taehyung and a smile was there on his face. Like the line he was saying it's not some kind of lyrics only. It's means more then that.
"Can you trust me, can you trust me, pull me in tight.. hold me tight, hug me~" as he move thought taehyung, and taehyung really thought he is asking him to hug.
"Here," Jungkook said softly, handing the glass of milkshake to Taehyung.
Taehyung, still a bit dizzy, took the glass from him. "Th-thank you," he stammered.
"Your welcome." Jungkook voice clearly shows the love he hold. But unfortunately taehyung really unable to hear it.
"You made yourself a banana milkshake and for me, strawberry. Why?" Taehyung asked.
"Because you like strawberry," Jungkook replied with an expression that clearly said, Isn't it obvious?
"How do you know?" Taehyung asked, his face showing shock.
"I just know! Come on, let's go to the rooftop." With that, Jungkook began walking away.
When he heard no footsteps behind him, he turned around and saw Taehyung standing there with his mouth open.
Taehyung was genuinely shocked that Jungkook noticed such a small detail about him. After Yoongi hyung, Jungkook was the first person to show him such affection.
Jungkook sighed and walked back to Taehyung, taking his hand and gently dragging him along. "Let's go, hyungie."
Taehyung allowed himself to be led with a wide smile.
"My heart it melting again. God help me to stop it.!" Taehyung thought, but still let the younger drag him.

"It's so beautiful!" Jungkook softly said while gazing at the night sky above them
"Yeah, very beautiful" Taehyung said while looking at the moon. The moon beside him. His moon but at the same time not his.
Jungkook looked at Taehyung and noticed he was actually staring at him.
Jungkook blushed heavily and looked away.
