Taehyung clenched his fists tightly when Jungkook fell on stage during the performance. His heart raced as he watched the younger man hit the floor. But then Jungkook stood up, gave a thumbs-up to the ARMY, and smiled as if nothing had happened.
Taehyung let out a sigh of relief as he saw that beautiful smile on Jungkook’s face. His moon seemed to shine even brighter than before, growing like a real moon in the sky, perhaps even more radiant.
He knew Jungkook would repeatedly blame himself for this little mistake, and that’s what happened after the concert.
The younger didn’t let anyone into the changing room. He changed by himself and came out wearing a white shirt and gray sweatpants. After nodding at Taehyung and Jin, everyone got into the cars and left for the hotel.
For 20 minutes, Taehyung kept looking at the eyes-closed Jungkook in the back seat. Jin didn’t disturb the younger, thinking that after a two-hour concert, he must be tired. But Taehyung knew better.
“Stop the car,” The driver slowly stopped the car to the side when Jin said so. The other two men in the car looked at him with questioning faces. Jin gave a somewhat awkward smile at Jungkook before saying.
"Actually my one frie-nd lives here. He wanted to meet me for a long time. So we planned this meet up I gonna stay tonight and tomorrow at him. I didn't get time to tell you since we were so busy." He said while trying to find his bag on back seat.
"Who is he? Why I never knew you had a friend here tiny?" Jungkook asked with a eyebrow raising. Putting more pressure on 'here' indicating how come jin has a friend on LA?
“Y-you don’t know him, yeah? Don’t worry, I’ll be back in two days! I’ll be right there when we leave for Chicago; I’m not going to miss the flight, though!” With that, Jin opened the car door for himself.
Jin looked at Taehyung, who was just watching everything from the front seat. “I’m leaving him in your hands, so don’t make me regret it later, Tae. I believe in you.”
Taehyung just nodded. He would protect his moon with his life, but Jin didn’t have to know that.
“Bye, take care, and Ggukie, don’t do anything that’ll make me get a call from your dad! I’m leaving you alone, but that doesn’t mean I won’t get any updates for two days. Taehyung will inform me of everything, so do as he says, okay?” Jin said with a serious face. Jungkook nodded, but the manager didn’t notice the little smile on Jungkook’s face.
“Follow Taehyung’s orders, okay?” Jin said to the other bodyguards gathering around him. Everyone replied with a “Yes, sir.”
“Bye! Take care!” Jungkook waved his hand with a smile on his face. Suddenly, his face had some light that had been missing after the mistake he made on stage today. Jin glared at him before the cars started again, leaving Jin on the road.

Everyone walked silently down the hallway of the hotel they were staying in. Jungkook walked ahead while Taehyung followed behind with the other four bodyguards.
