Falling for an Alpha

Chapter 5

S2E5 - Venomous

A few days past since Sasha's secret was revealed to her friends and it was a good thing. Since they knew the truth about her and vice versa they got closer. The Three Musketeers were back and it was as she had never left. Sasha also quickly became great friend with Alison, who was Scott's girlfriend.

The trio was walking through the school hallways. The two teenage boys were updating their friend on their latest discovery since she wasn't in the same classes as them this morning. Derek thought that Jackson was the Kanima so his betas kidnapped and tested him. Turned out he wasn't the beast and now the Alpha wanted to test Lydia. Also, Isaac forced Jackson to change his testimony and now he wasn't a suspect in his father's murder anymore. Needless to say, Sasha was pissed at the Alpha when they entered their chemistry class.

"Derek is not gonna kill her without proof." Scott said to his two friends.

"All right, so he tests her like he did with Jackson, right? But when and where?" Stiles questioned.

"I think here and now." Sasha said as she noticed the two new betas entering the classroom. 

Scott and Stiles immediately ran to sit around Lydia. The female Alpha glared at Isaac and Erica before she sat down at the table next to her friends. 

"Einstein one said, two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the universe. I myself have encountered infinite stupidity." Mr. Harris said patting Stiles' shoulder and Sasha couldn't help but smirk. Their teacher always hated the mischief kid and she always found it amusing.

"So, to combat the plague of ignorance in my class, you're going to combine efforts through a round of group experiments. Let's see if two heads are indeed better than one. Or, in Mr. Stilinski's case, less than one." Mr. Harris said once he was in front of the class. "Erica, you take the first station. You'll start with Sasha." He added before making the other groups. Fortunately Lydia ended up with Scott.

The young beta got up and went to sit down next to Sasha, who didn't pay her any attention. They silently began the experiment and after a few minutes, Erica gathered the courage to talk.

"I'm sorry." She told Sasha. "For what I said about your brother. That was rude and just mean. Everyone used to treat me like shit and when I changed, I decided to take my revenge, but you didn't deserve it. You've always be kind with me." She added in a guilty tone.

"Yeah, you shouldn't have and now you know not to ever talk about him again, right?" Sasha replied coldly and she flashed her eyes red for a second. Instantly, she heard the heartbeat of the beta quickened. "I meant what I said to you the other day tho. Alphas are ready to do anything to assuage their power. So don't trust yours too much and be careful Erica." She added in a more benevolent tone. Even if she was angry at her, she didn't want her to get hurt.

Before the young beta had time to answer, Mr. Harris rang the bell and Sasha went to sit next to Allison. Stiles went with Lydia and Scott with Erica. Both tried to convince the betas that Lydia was not the Kanima, but they wouldn't listen. Meanwhile, Sasha continued the experiment, but looked in Scott's direction when she felt Allison's heart rate increase. Erica had her hand on the young man's thigh.

"I can feel his anger all the way up here. Don't worry Ali, McCall only has eyes for you." Sasha whispered to her friend to reassure her.

The bell rang again and it was Sasha's turn to sit with Lydia. She was about to stand up but Mr. Harris stopped her.

"Miss Argent you can go with Erica." He told Allison and gestured towards the hot blond. "Miss Jones, I need you to stay at the end of the class. I would like to talk to you in private, please." Mr. Harris added and she nodded.
