Ryo & Mon CHAPTER one

"Huh... huh... huh." the sobbing voice of a little boy sounded in the corner
of the kindergarten, amid the bustle of about 40 male and female children.

No one had turned their attention to the little boy, except for one boy who
walked straight to the bright-faced boy, who was sitting there crying.

"Mon... Mon, what is this?"  asked a taller boy called Ryo.
Mon looked at his friend with a tear-stained face

"Huk... Ryo... Mon can't fold the paper to follow the teacher... hek.. " said
the boy,  Mon.

The boy —Ryo — sat next to him.

"Is Mon going to give up?"  Ryo asked again.

" Huk ... Mon can't bend the dog ... Huk. " Mon sobbed again.

"Ryo will be right back." Ryo said, before running to find his backpack.
He took the notebook, tore the pages and went back to see Mon again.

" Ryo will teach Mon how to fold. We can fold together. " Ryo said, before
handing Mon the paper from the notebook he had torn up.

"Huk... Ryo can't tear the notebook... Huk... The teacher will get mad soon."

The tearful Mon was still worried that Ryo would be scolded by the teacher.

"The teacher isn't fierce... Mon, please stop crying... or Ryo won't teach."
Ryo said again.

Mon hurriedly wiped the tears from his face and suppressed the sobbing
sound, because he was afraid that his classmate would not teach.

"I stopped."  replied the little boy.
Ryo cracked a smile, before teaching Mon how to fold origami several times,
until Ryo 's notebook almost ran out of pages.
And that day when he returned home, Ryo was scolded by his mother for
tearing up his homework notebook..

"Did you bring your math homework to the teacher ? " Ryo asked.

The fifth grade boy asked his best friend who entered the classroom.
He is the head of the class and has to take his friends' homework to the
teacher's desk.
When Mon heard this, he froze his face.

"Don't tell me you forgot to make it.. l called your house and told you to
bring it. " Ryo said again.

"I brought the notebook... b.. but I... forgot to do that, Ryo." Mon recalled.

"I warned you since last night. What were you doing? Ryo asked.

"Played a game with P'Miles, forgot to do my homework. I will take a beating
from the teacher."  Mon moaned.

"Give me your notebook." Ryo said.
Mon made a confused face.

" Why do you want that? " Mon asked.

"C'mon C'mon. " Ryo said again.

Mon then opened his backpack, took the notebook and handed it to his
friend. Ryo opened it and took out his own notebook, copying Mon's homework.

"R... Ryo.. l can copy myself" said Mon, when he saw his friend doing his
homework for him.

"You write slowly, I'l do it myself. " Ryo said again, before quickly writing his
homework for Mon.
And Mon had his homework turned in right on time.
