Ch 5

Slowly waking up I immediately blink away the tiredness and carefully go to sit up only to pause when I notice Chan fast asleep bent over with his head on the bed our hands still clutching onto each other. Blushing a little I immediately feel bad that he had to sleep in such an uncomfortable position because my wolf didn't want him to leave. Seeing his hair all messed up I instinctively go to fix it but pause when there's a knock on the door I looking curious only for my eyes to widen when I see my boss and close friend Liam walk in he pausing when he sees Chan saying quietly. "Should I come back later?" I go to say something when Chan lets out a little groan I immediately turning my attention to him as he carefully sits up with a wince I grimacing in sympathy. "I'm sorry I made you stay and probably made you stiff and sore." He looks at me and gives a little reassuring smile. "It's alright I promise. I just need to walk it off." I slowly nod then turn my attention to Liam who's watching me with a raised eyebrow I immediately feeling a little embarrassed giving the alpha a stern look. "Shut it." He gives me a stern alpha look and I give him a slight look back not noticing Chan watching us closely. After a moment of us glaring at each other I reluctantly back down with a pout Liam nodding in approval. "Now why didn't you tell me you were having trouble with an alpha jerk? Or the fact that you're homeless." I shrug looking down at my lap. "I didn't want you to worry. And I thought I could handle Dongyul myself I didn't expect him to drug me." He gives me a look of disbelief his voice rising. "Adrian you know there's a lot of alphas out there who will do anything to bed an omega you should have had your guard up! And also you should have come to me with the fact that you're homeless I could have helped!" I flinch slightly at his tone and Chan suddenly gives a warning growl his eyes flashing red. "Hey now watch it." Liam raises an eyebrow at him. "This doesn't concern you pup so back off." I immediately frown a little at those words. "Hey don't talk to him like that!" Liam gives me a look of disbelief. "You don't even know him and you're taking his side?" I give Liam a look. "I don't want you going after my mate. And you're being an ass right now." He scoffs. "Oh so you immediately find your mate and now I'm an ass for looking out for your best interest?" My voice rises slightly in frustration. "You're not my alpha it's not your job to look out for my interests! And I never asked you to look out for me anyways!" Liam's eyes narrow and he goes to step forward but Chan's immediately on his feet and blocks Liam so he can't get to me. "I think you should leave. All you're doing is making him upset." Liam growls slightly but I speak up sternly. "Leave Liam." His eyes go to me before he scoffs and storms out of the room. I sigh and slump back against the bed feeling annoyed and aggravated. Chan makes his way over and gently takes my hand giving it a little squeeze. "Are you okay?" I look at him a little pitifully. "I wasn't expecting him to act that way. And now that he knows I'm homeless I can't stay in the cafe anymore." He gives me a little reassuring smile. "Don't worry about being homeless. I said you can stay with me and my friends at the dorm and I meant it." I blink in surprise. "You sure?" He nods smiling. "Yeah I already discussed it with everyone. I have an extra bed in my room anyways." I smile a little in appreciation. "Thank you. You're amazing and I appreciate you looking out for me so much." His cheeks tint a little pink and he mumbles a little shyly. "Well we're mates and I want to make sure you're comfortable and happy." I smile and go to say something when there's a knock and the doctor comes in with a smile. "Good morning. I came to let you know that you can be discharged today. But take it a little easy and if you start to feel bad like nausea or cramping come back immediately." I give a little nod and the doctor hands over the paperwork for me to leave I thanking her and immediately start on the paperwork a nurse coming to get it when I'm done and it's then that I realize I'm wearing a hospital gown and I remember my clothes being ruined by being covered in slick. I frown and go to mention it when Chan suddenly hands me some clothes I blinking in surprise and smell his scent all over. "I figured you'd need something to wear so I brought you some clothes." I smile thankfully and carefully get up heading to the adjoining bathroom and close the door before quickly getting dressed I sighing happily at the smell of Chan on the clothes once I'm dressed. Unable to stop burying my face in the hoodie sleeves I manage to make my way out of the bathroom only to see Chan stretching his shirt riding up and I blush feeling a pit of arousal forming in my stomach. He turns to me with a curious worried expression. "Are you alright? Your scent spiked." I blush even more and say reassuringly. "I'm fine." He frowns and moves closer hovering over me. "Are you sure? If you need to stay longer that's perfectly fine." I shake my head saying softly. "I'm fine Chan I promise." He seems to back off a little and nods then leads me out of the room after I grab my bag of personal items I had on me. "Donovan hyung and Seungcheol hyung are coming to pick us up. You met Donovan hyung when you woke up." I remember the pretty omega that smelt like cherries and nod we stepping outside the hospital I seeing the mentioned omega waving us over to a car. I smile a little as we walk over Donovan giving us a bright smile. "Alright let's head home." I nod and Chan and I both get in the backseats buckling up as we head to the dorm.
