Ch 1

(Adrian's Pov)

Waking up to my alarm I immediately sit up quickly turning it off before rubbing the sleep from my eyes. I get up from the stiff cot I use as my bed and stretch before quickly getting dressed in my uniform before brushing my teeth in the bathroom of the cafe I crash at staring at my reflection of dark brown hair with chocolate brown eyes and slightly tan skin then quickly head back to the old unused storage closet hiding my things and then fold up the cot away from eyesight. Once I'm ready I head to the front of the cafe making it look like I came from the employee entrance and walk to my alpha friend and coworker Liam. "Morning Liam." He looks at me with a little smile. "Hey Adrian. I got a bunch of the baked goods done for the morning rush can you please handle the register?" I nod smiling reassuring him I got it handled and quickly go over to the register after making myself a coffee setting it beside the register. As I stand there getting bored a young man in a mask and cap walks in my nose wrinkling slightly at the strong scent of alpha and cinnamon. Taking a breath my mind immediately screams the word mate my own scent of apples starting to react a little. As the alpha gets closer he freezes when he reaches the counter his body tensing up a little. It's quiet as we just stand there staring at each other wide eyed before I snap out of it when I hear the front door ding signaling another customer. Swallowing I look at the alpha in front of me. "Um tell me your order and if you're not busy you can take a seat then I'll come talk to you on my break." He nods and clears his throat before telling me his order I immediately getting it ready then hand it over to him with a little smile he thanking me shyly before heading over to the tables. I then turn my attention to the next customer immediately frowning when I see an alpha that comes in every day to flirt and make sexual comments trying to get me to go home with him. Putting on a fake smile I ask politely. "Regular order Dongyul?" He smirks at me and nods. "Yep." I turn to get it ready grimacing when he starts making comments. "You know you're such a pretty omega but you'd look prettier in my bed underneath me." I scrunch my face up in distaste but turn around handing over the coffee and muffin politely. "Sorry Dongyul I'm not interested." He looks annoyed and says a little aggressively. "Oh come on pretty don't be stuck up." I give him a slight look. "I'm not stuck up I'm just not interested." He gives me an angry expression a strange look in his eyes before making a comment sounding smug. "We'll see about that." My eyes narrow slightly as he turns and heads for a table I shaking my head and grab my coffee chugging over half of it when I pause and pull my cup away looking at it in confusion because it tastes extra sweet and I didn't even put much sugar in it. Frowning not thinking anything of it I pour the rest of the coffee out throwing the cup away before focusing back on working. Only about twenty minutes later I start feeling hot and uncomfortable fidgeting a little starting to feel really dizzy. Swallowing a little I shudder when a strong wave of need washes over me I letting out a little whimper the scent of the young alpha with the intoxicating cinnamon scent becoming more noticeable to me filling my senses. I grip onto the counter tightly closing my eyes when suddenly the scent of apple bursts through the cafe making me gasp as my heat breaks through the only thing going through my mind is need and alpha. Feeling hot and dizzy I try to make my way around the counter to the bathroom in the back but barely even make it five feet before I'm doubling over from pain because of how intense the heat I'm going through is it's like my body is having three heats at once. I soon feel a presence heading towards me only to hear a deep growl coming from a table close by. I shakily lift my head up to see the young alpha that smells like cinnamon standing there his mask gone and he glaring darkly at Dongyul his eyes glowing red while he gives a deadly growl. "Stay away from him." Dongyul raises an eyebrow at him. "You're just a pup you have no way of winning this fight." Dongyul tries to go after me the young alpha snarling and the next thing I know is Dongyul's being tackled to the ground I watching in shock as the young alpha throws punch after punch snarling down at Dongyul. "He's mine!" I whimper a little a small whine coming from me as I stumble forward and start falling the young alpha quickly moving and catches me before I hit the ground I ending up pressed against his chest my wolf immediately making a happy noise of content at his scent I sighing a little happily and nuzzle against his chest. I then feel another wave of arousal and heat wash over my body making me whine as a large gush of slick comes from me making the young alpha moan. I whine in a needy voice as my wolf completely takes over I looking up at him his eyes glowing red. "Please! Alpha please need you!" He growls a little and scoops me up into his arms gently. "Where do you live?" I grimace a little hiding my face against his chest before saying in embarrassment. "I'm homeless. I live in the cafe store closet." It's quiet for a minute before he says gruffly. "Let's get you back to my dorm." He then starts carrying me outside and down the streets the only thing I able to think of is the alpha and how much I need him.
