Ch 9

(Chan's Pov)

Watching as Adrian slowly falls asleep I carefully climb out of bed when I hear the front door open and loud voices coming from downstairs. I make my way downstairs and am immediately greeted by everyone I immediately shushing them a little. "Adrian just went to sleep and he really needs it he's exhausted." They all give each other looks before Donovan gives a little concerned look. "Is he okay? Seungcheol said that you had to stay behind because he wasn't feeling well." My cheeks tint a little pink before I say softly. "We had to call the doctor because he's still feeling effects from the drug. She said he'll be okay in a day or two." They all nod and everyone starts parting ways I feeling a little bored. I decide to go back up to my room and check on Adrian I immediately feeling concerned when I hear whimpers and whines coming from the hall. Quickly rushing inside the room I see him tossing and turning in his sleep little fear filled whines coming from him I immediately rushing over and gently shake his shoulder. "Adrian wake up." He wakes with a start breathing heavily then looks at me with wide eyes filled with fear I giving him a worried look. "Are you okay?" He bites his lip before mumbling softly. "I had a dream that Dongyul got ahold of me and that you weren't there to help." My expression softens and I immediately pull him close holding him in my arms. "I'm sorry jagi. I know that must have been really traumatic for you." He gives a little nod clinging to me tightly I rubbing little comforting circles on his back. Soon I notice his breathing even out and I look down smiling softly when I see he's fast asleep again. I carefully lay down with him holding him close and slowly doze off with him in my arms.

(Adrian's Pov)

The next morning I slowly wake up feeling a lot better and not as hot or horny. Letting out a little sigh I snuggle closer to Chan just laying there in contentment. Just as I'm about to doze back off an alarm starts going off I immediately letting out a little groan as Chan wakes up. He carefully maneuvers me so that he can grab his phone he turning the alarm off as I sit up rubbing my eyes tiredly. He sets his phone aside then looks at me with a smile. "Good morning jagi. How are you feeling?" I give him a little tired smile. "A lot better. I'm not all hot and needy anymore. What's the alarm for though?" He smiles and nods. "That's good. And the alarm is to wake me up so I can go to practice." I give a slow nod feeling a little disappointed that he'll have to leave. "Oh okay." He hums as he gets out of bed stretching. "You should probably start getting ready as well because we'll leave soon." I blink in surprise looking at him in confusion. "Wait what?" He gives me an amused look. "You're coming with me so get ready." I sit there for a second processing his words then immediately brighten up with a grin quickly scrambling out of bed and go to my small bag of clothes. After I grab an outfit I go to check my phone looking curious when I see I have a message only to be confused when I notice it's from an unknown number. Blinking I read through the message only to immediately frown at the words "be careful little omega I'm watching you." Shaking my head I exit out of the message ignoring it I instead grabbing my clothes and head to the bathroom when Chan tells me it's available. I get a quick shower and change then drop my dirty clothes off at mine and Chan's room before I head downstairs I quickly going to sit beside Chan at the breakfast table. I take a plate of food and start silently eating when my phone buzzes I pulling it out only to receive another message from the unknown number.

Unknown: you're going to regret what you did to me.

I frown feeling a little anxious but exit out of the message setting my phone aside Chan giving me a confused look. "Who was that?" I immediately put on a fake smile. "Oh it was just Liam trying to apologize but I didn't answer." He slowly nods and I go back to finishing my food. Once everyone is finished we all head out to the cars and go to the entertainment building I following Chan and the others silently. Once we reach a practice room Donovan parts ways with us and an omega named Levi gives me a kind smile leading me to the back of the room we taking a seat on the couch. As we take a seat I watch the guys get into position before they start dancing I watching in slight awe and amazement. Halfway through their performance though my phone buzzes in my hand I reluctantly opening it only to see more creepy messages from the unknown number.

Unknown: I'm going to get ahold of you. And when I do you'll be begging for mercy.

Unknown: not even your alpha will be able to help you.

I immediately pale a little and swallow anxiously feeling a little uncomfortable and nervous. Levi turns to me with a curious concerned look. "You alright? Your scent smells a little like you're in distress." I immediately put on a fake smile. "I'm fine." He raises an eyebrow at me I flinching when my phone vibrates again. Before I can stop him Levi grabs my phone and looks at it he immediately frowning in concern. "Who's sending you these?" I lower my head a little pitifully. "I don't know. I just started receiving them this morning." His frown deepens and he says worriedly. "You need to tell Chan about this." I immediately shake my head no stubbornly. "He doesn't need to worry. It's fine if it gets any worse I'll tell him." He raises an eyebrow at me before turning his head once the music stops. "Chan your mate needs you." I immediately give Levi a look as Chan rushes over in concern. "What's wrong? Are you okay?" I go to say I'm fine when Levi hands him my phone showing him the messages. "He's been receiving these messages since this morning." Chan takes the phone and reads through it a worried frown crossing his face before he looks at me. "Why didn't you tell me earlier?" I lower my head saying softly. "I didn't want to bother you." He kneels down in front of me and gently makes me look at him. "If someone's threatening you then I want to know immediately. You won't be bothering me." I give a little slow nod before saying softly. "Okay. Sorry alpha." His expression softens. "It's alright jagi." Soon the others are surrounding us asking what's going on and Chan immediately tells them about the messages they all giving me worried looks. I go to say that I'm fine when my phone buzzes again Chan looking down at it since he still has it and he immediately lets out a growl. I frown a little we all giving him confused looks when he turns the phone around it showing pictures of me entering the entertainment building with the guys. Seungcheol immediately speaks up sounding protective. "We need to tell the manager that Adrian's being watched. We'll get security to follow him and you as well Chan." I immediately frown feeling like a burden. "You don't have to do all that for me." I'm immediately given a stern look by both Chan and Seungcheol it surprisingly Seungcheol who speaks up first. "You're family now Adrian and that means if someone's after you we'll do everything in our power to protect you." I blink and look at Chan who nods in agreement. "He's right jagi." I let out a little sigh and lower my head in defeat. "Alright." The group all nod in approval and I murmur softly. "Can I have my phone back please?" Chan hands me my phone back but says softly. "If you get anymore messages then tell me." I give a little reassuring nod and then Seungcheol calls the guys back to practice I sitting there watching surprisingly not getting anymore messages.
