The next day I wake up rubbing my eyes tiredly only to frown when I don't see Chan in bed beside me. Sitting up I grimace as my phone vibrates I reluctantly grabbing it only to immediately pale when I see a picture of Chan in a cafe the message that comes with it saying "find a way to meet me at this address or your mate gets a bullet to the brain." I swallow and quickly scramble out of bed pulling on some clothes and shoes then write a quick note for Chan before I carefully slip downstairs there luckily no one in the living room since it's breakfast time and I silently slip out the door immediately heading for the address given to me.
(Chan's Pov)
Quickly rushing back to the dorm after getting me and Adrian a coffee I head up to our room calling out cheerfully. "Jagi I got you a coffee!" As I step into the room I look around in confusion not seeing him anywhere. Carefully setting the coffees down I spot a note sitting on the bed I frowning and quickly grab it reading through it.
Dear Chan, I'm sorry but I had to go meet the sender of those messages. It was either meet them or they'd have you killed and I didn't want to be the reason you were hurt. I know that you're probably mad and upset but just know that I love you and you made me a very happy man and I'm very lucky you're my mate. Please take care of yourself and remember I love you. -Adrian
Staring at the note in horror I immediately run downstairs in a panic yelling out. "Adrian ran away to meet the person who was sending the messages!" Everyone looks at me wide eyed Donovan immediately speaking up. "Why would he do something like that?" I run a hand through my hair anxiously. "Because apparently they threatened my life and Adrian chose to leave and meet them so I wouldn't get hurt." They all scowl and have angry looks on their faces Seungcheol speaking up. "Alright we'll get ahold of the police and maybe they can help." I nod feeling frantic and anxious along with fear and anger all at once. I start pacing the room waiting as Seungcheol calls the police and talks to them the only thing going through my mind is that I hope Adrian's alright.
