When we arrived home in Shady Grove, I dropped onto Baylor's bed and closed my eyes. I heard Baylor slam a bag down on his floor and he flopped down on his bed as well. I peeled an eye open and his hair was a mess and his eyes were closed. Sleepiness covered his face.
"You look lovely," I rubbed his bare back. He peeked at me and he softly grinned. He sealed his eyes shut and moved closer to me.
"I'm gonna go shower; I'll be back." I pecked his cheek and headed towards the bathroom.
When I exited the shower, I made sure to brush my teeth once more. I made my way into Baylor's bedroom and rummaged through his drawers in his Chester set.
The condo was quiet, and Baylor was asleep on his bed. He looked so peaceful and young.
I threw my hair into a bun, hung my towel up on the back of the bathroom door, and headed downstairs to at least tempt to cook a decent meal for Baylor and me.
I cooked hamburger helper and broccoli with cheese. I at least added some veggies in to nourish our bodies. I fixed Baylor a glass of milk, knowing he drinks milk with his dinner most of the time. I, on the other hand, got a bottled water and headed upstairs with our food and beverages on a tray.
"Baylor," I sing-songed. He stirred awake after an hour of a power nap. He turned on his back and rubbed his face when he looked at me.
"I cooked us supper."
He gasped, "You? Cooked supper?"
I cackled, "Shut up and eat."
He laughed and began eating.
"So, uh, when am I gonna see what's in that Victoria Secret bag?" he smirked.
"When I think you've earned it," I lilted.
"'Cause girl you're perfect, you're always worth it, and you deserve it, the way you work it. 'Cause girl you earn -"
"Baylor, please stick to your regular day activities," I interrupted him.
"Earned it, girl you earned it!" He shouted.
"Please," I begged.
"You know our love would be tragic, so you don't pay it, don't pay it no mind. We live in no lies. HEY, HEY. You're my favorite kind of night." He began wiggling his eyebrows and then he winked.
"Oh, my God!"
He laughed while continuing to sing. "So I love when you call unexpected, 'cause I hate when the moment's expected. So I'ma care for you, you, you."

"Where's the bag?!" Baylor has rummaged through my suitcase for about ten minutes now. I sat on his bed and watched him become agitated.
"I'm not saying. When you find it, you'll see."
Baylor began chunking shirts at me and then a pairs of sweatpants and leggings. "Baylor!" I screeched and giggled.
He tossed clothes out of my suitcase, meaning to throw the garments at me. He dug through each pocket and in other bags.
"You know what -"
He stood from the floor and walked towards the bed to where I was lying on my stomach. He grabbed my ankles and pulled me to him. He picked me up and thew me over his shoulder. I was upside down and the only way I was holding onto Baylor was by his waist and he only had a tight grasp on my ankles.
"Baylor, put me down!" I shouted.
I was tempted to pull his boxers down but he'd find it as a joke.
