you will be ok

I sighed, finally putting up the last of the Kings washing, when suddenly I felt a wight being crashed into my leg.

I looked down to see the Kings youngest daughter, yelena, I smiled, "yelena, honey, what are you doing here? You're supposed to be learning how to be a lady with Mrs Brown," I say.

She shook her head, tightening her grip on my leg.

Then I spotted a tear fall down her cheek.

I sighed, looking around.the field not seeing any of the other maids or the gardeners.

"Wanna go for a walk?" I ask, reseving a small nod from her.

She let go of my leg, but then took my hand as we started to walk, we walked alongside the river for a while.

"Is there a reason you're with me instead of with Mrs Brown?" I ask, turning to her as we sit on a big rock looking over the river.

"She was shouting at me thst I was worthless, just because I could sit up straight," she said, sniffling.

"Yeah, I know how that feels," I say, smiling as I look down at my lap.

"Yeah, it sucks, but" I say, placing my arm over her shoulder, feeling her relax.

"It always seems more quiet in the dark. It always feels so stark, How silence grows under the moon,  Constellations gone so soon," I sang feeling.her lift her head up.

"I used to think that I was bold
I used to think love would be fun
Now, all the stories have been told
Except for one," I smiled, seeing her eyes sparked in the sunlight.

I got off the rock, holding my hands out for her. She smiled and then jumped into my inbrace.

She snuggled into me, "As the stars start to align, I hope you take it as a sign that you will be okay, Everything will be okay," I sang.

As I reached closer to the castle, I could feel her tense up, " And if the seven hells collapse. Although the day could be my last. You will be okay. When I'm gone, you'll be okay, " I whispered as she slowly closed her eyes.

I swayed her as yelena trembled. She had another nightmare, "It's ok, lena, try and calm your breathing dear," I say softly.

I climbed into her bed as she cuddled into me, taking a hold of my hand, " It always seems more quiet in the dark," I whispered.

"How silence grows under the moon, constellations gone so soon," I peused, taking a peck to see she's fast asleep.

I got up, tucking her in, "Goodnight, dove," I whispered, kissing the top of her head.

"I'm sorry, if I'm not here when you wake," I whispered, walking out of the door.

23 years later

I'm now 23, I'm loving in a small town away from the palise, I left after thst night.

I couldn't bring myself to tell her, I was 14 and she 13 I was one year older than her, she was shorter to.

But I fell in love with her, I've heard from some of the townspeople that yelena has been looking for a specific maid.

I didn't want it to be me because I also heard from the townsmen that she's engaged to King Tony.

My heart broke when I heard that, I thought she felt the same way, but my heart was wrong.

I sighed, feeling the heat start to rise as the sun started to shine more.

I was planting, and I hadn't finished, so I needed to be out here a bit longer. As I was placing a flower into its hole, there was a sudden shadown of a horse over me.

Shielding me from the sun, I frowned, turning to see the shadows of what looked like a night in armer.

My eyes widened as I stood up and grabbed my basket, I bowed and then ran.

But got stopped by another night in armer, I heard ratling of armer, as the firts night got off his horse.

I turned around slowly to see the night taking its helmet off, revealing a woman, I frowned. I didn't know they allowed women to be nights.

The woman chuckled as she got closer, her blond hair flowing in the wind.

"I'm sorry, you have no bisness her, so you might as well go," I say, turning and walking past the second night.

"I do have bisness here,"she said. I stopped and turned, "speak your bisness then," I say, she walked closer.

"I'm here to find my one true love," she said. I chuckled "sorry but there aren't any other women in this village that aren't already married," I say.

"What about you?" She asked, smiling, "I'm sorry, but I already have my true love," I turned around.

She's engaged, she sighed, "Now all the stories have been told, except for one," she started to sing, making my heart swell at the sound of her voice.

I shook my head, walking closer to the doors to my hut, "As the stars, start to align, i hope you take it as a sign that, you will be okay, everything will be okay," I didn't stop walking.

That was until she grabbed my wrist, turning me around and wrapping her arm around my waist.

"And if the seven hells collapse, although the day could be my last, you will be okay," she whispered as our faces were inches away from each other.

"When I'm gone, you'll be okay," I breathed out, her eyes sparkled, I pushed her away, chow the hell do you know that song," I say, frowning.

She smiled, "You sang it to me when we were little," she siad, I shook my head, "No, I didn't, the only person who knows thst song is yelena but she's engaged," I say.

She took a step closer, "Hello, my dove," she said, smiling, "y-yelena?" I whispered, holding her face in my hands.

"No, you can't be her, i made sure to leave no trace where i was going, and if you're really her, what was the last thing a siad to you?" I say, taking a step back.

"I'm sorry if I am not here when you wake," she said, with sadness in her voice.

"Yelena," I say, running up and hugging her, "I've missed you," I say, taking in her sent and the feel of her arms around my waist.

"I've missed you two, моя любовь," (my love). I pulled away, with er still holding me and me still holding her.

"I can't believe how tall you are. You used to be up to my waist when you were younger," I say, smiling as I look her over.

She smiled. "Ah well, I had a growth spert," she said, then i frowned.

"Oh wiat, you're engaged, and the wedding today, what are you still doing here, go!" I say, I say, smiling, "y/n, I called off the wedding," she said.

"What!? Why?" I say, still frowning, "he was involved with someone else," she poused, "and so was i, " she said.

"Wiat, what? Who?" I say, she smiled, pulling me closer, "you, from the day I met you, I knew I would love you forever," she skadn, making me blush.

"Took you long enough, I say, smiling, she chuckled, "shut up, " she said, pulling me into her and crashing our lips together.

Her soft and sweet lips felt like pillows on mine, I slowly wrapped her arms around her neck.

After a while, I pulled away, "I think you needed to do that again," I say, feeling butterflies in my stomach.

"Yeah," she said, smirking, "mhm," I hummed, bitting my lower lip.

As she leaned back in for a more love felt kiss.
