I smiled as I remembered all the happy memories of me and my now wife.

"Things haven't been quite the same
There's a haze on the horizon, babe, " I sang softly, feeling her hands my waist.

I smiled, "It's only been a couple of days, and I miss you, mm, yeah," she sang while swaying with me.

"When nothin' really goes to plan
You stub your toe or break your camera," i say, giggling.

"I'll do everything I can to help you through," she sang, pulling me closer as my arms fell to her shoulders.

And hers never leaving my waist, "If you're feeling down, i just wanna make you happier, baby," we both sing at the same time smiling as we leaned in placing our fourhead onto each others.

"Wish I was around. i just wanna make you happier, baby," I sang as she placed a kiss on my cheek, then taking one of my hands in hers, I giggled as we danced around the kitchen.

Then I smelt something burning, "You smell it two," she whispered, "shit the brownies," I say, quickly grabbing the oven mits and openingnthe door waftingnaway the smock as o took the brownies out.

I sighed, she chuckled, wrapping her arms back around my waist, "I think there fucked," she siad, making me giggle.

Turning around, pulling her into me, kissing her full lf love and joy, which she gladly exeped.

We slowly started swaying again, "We've been doin' all this late night talkin'

I can't get you off my mind," she softly sang as we slow danced.

"Maria, come back to bed, I wanna cuddle," I whined as I was in bed while she was sitting at her desk doing paperwork, " I'm working as fast as I can baby," she said, I smiled.

I stood up and walked over to her, placing my hands on her shoulder, "Take a break, babe," I say, giving her a small masarge then taking her hand and led her to the bed.

Pulling her down on top of me, she smiled, nuzzling her head into the crock of my neck.

"Goodnight, my love," I whispered, kissing the crown of her head.

She hummed, and then I felt her body get heaver, I smiled turning the lamp off.

"Y/n, you've made me feel wanted and loved, and I hope you carry on doing so," she said, slowly getting down on one knee.

"Please, make me even happier, and take my last name," she said, taking a black box out her pocket.

"Oh my god," I breathed out, freezing up as my hands flew up to my mouth.

"Yes," I breathed out, making her smile as she took my hand and slid the ring on, I smiled pulling her in.

"What's wrong?" Maria asked, wrapping her arms around my waist, "nothing, just think about how happy I am, with you," I say, feeling her smile then kissing my neck.

"Same," she whispered as we both turned back to the stares.

"Mummyyyy!" Y/s/n shouted from indoors, I sighed, giggling, "Come on he's been begging me for us to watch this film," she siad, taking my hand entertaining out fingers.

I smiled, walking with her into the living room where our son was waiting for us, "finally," he said, as we both sat down.

"I love you," Maria said, kissing cheek, I smiled, leaning my head into her shoulder.

"I love you too," I whispered back as she squeezed my hand, and I squeezed back, making her smile.
