Chapter-4

Next morning was a blur, i was rushing here and there stuffing food in my face and getting ready for work. I decided to wear a trouser and a formal shirt, getting my brown hair in a ponytail, i was ready. I didn't like putting make up on, so by 8:30 i was ready. Taking my bag from the kitchen counter i dashed out of my apartment. I was at the acker's building by 9:30. People were already there doing their work. I went to the girl at the reception and she smiled up at me. Definately its written in her job description, i thought.
"Goodmorning miss haydon, Mr acker will be here shortly, he will be expecting you once he gets here. Please remember to take your identity card during the lunch, it will be needed to access the building, and welcome to the company, i am melissa, if you need help with anything you can come to me. Your office is on 7th floor." She replied smiling.
I smiled and said thank you before leaving for 7th floor.
The lady from the other day was sitting in her desk. I went to her " hello maam, i am ariana" i introduced myself politely.
She looked up at me and smiled " please call me lily, let me tell you what is your work"
" yes please" i replied smiling
" First of all you are to be present at Mr acker' s apartment by 9:30 sharp with his coffee from starbucks and with his schedule for the day, you have to take in his calls and filter them as necessity to him. You have to arrange meetings and make his schedule from 10 in the morning to 8 in the evening. With me so far ariana?"
" yes lily i am"
" ok, if he has an meeting outside new york you are to be present there with him, and if he needs any file, contact store department and ask for it, during board meetings you have to be prepared with all the files. I will be here for a week before i am retired then it will be all upon you"
Heaven forbid if i will be alive till then, i sighed.
Just then the elevator dinged, and his majesty stepped out, looking majestic.
His eyes caught mine and i forgot to breathe.
"Lily come in my office" he said in his silk voice looking at me, making a shiver run down my body, before he broke the contact and entered his office.
