After driving for 5 minutes we arrived at a cafe.
"What would you like to eat?" He asked looking up from his menu card.
The waiter took our order and left.
"So... tell me about you" he asked.
"Do you always take out your brother's assistants for lunch?" I asked curiously.
He laughed charmingly, "No ariana, well my brothers assistant was lily for 10 years, i don't like older ladies" he winked at me.
"Oh.. ok" i blushed red embarassed.
"I just moved from london, i have an architectural firm there" he said.
" oh.. so you don't live here anymore?" I asked
"No i visit ocassionaly.. tell me about you"he asked.
"Well my family lives in Georgia, i moved here, to make my life" i replied.
"You have nice eyes" he said.
"Ummmm... thank you" i smiled.
The waiter served our food. I took a bite while his eyes stayed locked on me.
"What?" I asked.
He just smiled and took a bite from his own sandwich.
We continued talking until i glanced at my watch.
"Shit, i am late!" I jumped up from my chair.
"Hey wait" daniel yelled from behined but i was already out of the door.
I ran two blocks from the deli to the building.
Without looking i walked out of the elevator on the 7th floor and baam!
I swear i saw stars and birds around my head. Two strong hands came around my waist. Brown eyes stared down at me, his brows furrowed with the cute v forming between his forehead. We stared at each other my hands resting on his chest. I imagined trailing my hands up and caressing his brown locks, my eyes travelled to his lips and my breath hitched. I wanted to feel his lips moving with mine.
But too soon he released me,helping me to regain my balance before withdrawing his hands.
"Can you atleast watch where you are going?" He asked sharply.
"I am sorry" i replied looking down.
"You are late, we have a board meeting to attend,get ready with the files and meet me at the board room in 5 minutes."
"Yes.. yes sir"
"Is that mine?" He asked pointing at the sandwich.
"Yes"
He snached the sandwich and walked towards the elevator.
"Hothead" i muttered under my breath watching him disappear as the elevator door closed.
