Everyday you wonder how different your life would be if you didn't become an adventurer, would you be more happy? or would you feel empty.. empty like an endless void without any meaning, you aren't sure if adventuring was really for you but what else would you do you simply need to find your purpose instead of going through this boring lifestyle.
You snap out of thought as diluc calls you " Are you listening?" you nod your head reassuring that you were listening to the whole thing however you werent.. "What did I say then" he crosses his arms in your sight, you stay silent as he shakes his head.
"I was asking you about the adventure" you sigh, the day you had was hard traveling up the dragonspine to deliver some stuff to albedo but there was no time to mess around since so many beasts got in your way when getting there also when coming back Kathryne sent you out on a mission for some stupid resources "It was ok" you lie slouching down in your chair "Would you like a beverage?" he smiled at you while cleaning his cups, his sleeves were rolled up showing his muscular arms with vains trailing down them, his slender hands moving so gently not to break any glass and his crimson red hair was in a high ponytail revealing more of his neck it was quite hot indeed.. "Please I am done" you smile secretly happy to finally end the day with only a one of drink.
-AN HOUR LATER-
cups were laid out all over the table from the hard drinking you just did but you didn't care, a break is all you need from the tiring week you completed.
your head was flat on the table looking dead as ever but suddenly your head shot up with a sudden energy rush, you walked over to the bar where diluc stood "Hey aa.. handsomeee" you stutter from the alcohol kicking in "Hm? I don't have time for this" he lied he did have time but he was flustered from the comment "Aughh dont be a bummer cutie" when you get drunk a little flirting comes with it "What... cutie?" his face was a tint of red "Yess you cutie give me a little smoouch" you lean over the bar and pull his face closer, he doesn't pull away so you peck his soft lush lips, you giggle while pulling away.
His face was now red like a tomato and you found it adorable so you kept on giggling, he never felt this way with anyone but you, this feeling was new but he liked it. He placed his hand on your face, you smile at him and he kisses you again but this time he took control, he pulls away "You taste like wine.." his lips were tinted red from the lipstick on your lips.
You feel your eyes drooping and instantly pass out on counter, diluc softly laughs at your unstable state and picks you up bridal style but you clutch onto his neck leaning over his shoulder while grunting in your sleep "you are a mystery" he strokes your hair as you fall asleep.
-NEXT DAY-
The smell of sweet tea lingers in the air, you arise from the deep sleep you was in with a headache getting out of your bed and inspecting the room "Good morning" diluc enters the room, a tray was in his hands with a strawberry tart and a special herbal tea in a golden glaze cup "The tea will help with the hangover" he puts the tray on the table side next to you "I brought you to the winery since I couldn't enter your house.. Im sorry" You crack a smile and burst out laughing "Diluc don't be sorry I can't believe I got so drunk! Did I do something?" his cheeks turned red "You did" he holds your face close and slightly kisses you then pulls away "I'm sorry its just that-" you interrupt his incoming rant and you passionately kiss him closing your eyes as he does the same.
Once you pull away, you hug diluc "thank you for taking care of me and Diluc.. I've been wanting to say this for a while I love you" you feel him hugging you tighter "I love you too, I have never felt this feeling before" it almost made you tear up as you pull away to look at him "Diluc your going to make me cry" he smiles at you, holding you close by the waist "Its ok to cry, I'll still love you" thats what made you crack and happy tears fell down your cheeks you finally found what your purpose was.
