Unexpectedly

With a loud bang the door burst open, whereupon Larissa almost destroyed her document with the fountain pen in shock and looked up.

Enid stood before her, eyes wide.

"Professor Weems," she almost shouted across the room. "Please, you have to come and help. Wednesday..."

She gasped for breath. She had run the entire way.

"Enid," Larissa said softly. "What about Wednesday."

Enid closed her eyes and took a breath. The shock was still in her soul.

"She's upstairs on the floor with seizures but unresponsive. Please, you have to come with me."

It didn't take Larissa a minute to realize what the girl in front of her wanted. Briskly, she got up and followed Enid up the halls to Ophelia Hall.

Once there, Mrs. Thornhill was already sitting on the floor, trying to hold Wednesday as best she could and as tightly as she could.

When Larissa Weems saw the girl lying on the floor while Mrs. Thornhill was holding her, it began to bubble strangely inside her. She remembered what Morticia had said to her. Vision shifters. "Get your hands off her," she prodded a little too bitingly, whereupon eyes were fixed on her. "Vision," she added, not taking her eyes off Wednesday.

Mrs. Thornhill was about to say something, but Larissa immediately interrupted her.

"Everyone out of here," she ordered, and Enid reached for her bag. "Mrs. Thornhill, take Enid outside, please. Wednesday is excused from school for the day."

"Yes, of course," the latter said and rose to walk out of the room with the other girl. Hearing the clack of the door, Larissa turned the key a moment later. No one was to interrupt now. Only useless questions would arise, for which she had no time now.

She crouched down to Wednesday and took one deep breath. Tried to flood her body with the calm she needed to be able to help. She couldn't imagine the magnitude of touching her with extra adrenaline.

Only a moment later, she had turned into Wednesday, taking her head in her hands while her thumbs lightly pressed her temples. She needed access to her vision so she could help Wednesday. Something was happening that the girl was trapped in her vision.

When Wednesday calmed down a bit, she spoke in a calm tone.

"Wednesday, I need you to listen to me. Try to focus on you, on your body. Find your way back. What you see is a vision and not real. Don't allow yourself to be held by your visions.

The girl began to breathe slower and calmer. Likewise, her seizures subsided.

"That's good, dear. You can do it, I know you can. Come back. I'll listen to you, just come out of there Wednesday."

Larissa tried to speak as calmly as possible so she could convey safety.

Countless minutes had passed when Wednesday suddenly snapped her eyes open and stared at the ceiling and then suddenly looked at Larissa.
