What has happened so far.....

Gómez was released. All charges were dropped because Wednesday and Morticia found evidence that proved his innocence. Wednesday was honest with herself. She had trusted her father with everything, but not with murder.

He was just too soft and too sensitive for that.

He and Morticia talked about how he would like to have Pugsley and Lurch with him and they came to an agreement that a men's weekend was a must. Much to Morticia's delight she was alone on the Raven with Wednesday and Larissa.

Pugsley was happy to see his father again and to be able to spend time with him, while Wednesday became a little more withdrawn towards him. She loved him, no question about it. However, the bond she had formed in the short time with Larissa almost frightened her herself.

A few days before the Raven, Morticia and Wednesday decided to go on a little shopping spree. Sure, they both had enough clothes, even for upmarket occasions, but Wednesday was unhappy with herself. A stylish type change was needed. She wanted to look good for Enid and Morticia felt only too well how she felt, because she felt the same way.

Countless hours later, they were both back with a decent haul of clothes.

But no one told their date what they had found. They were just happy to surprise their partners.

"Will I see you later then?", Larissa asked again and got a nod from Morticia.

"Sure Mon Armour. I think I'll be done with everything in an hour and then join you. Will you please do me a favour and keep an eye on Wednesday. I don't want her to get into any mischief."

Larissa laughed. Morticia was really worried that her daughter would be seduced, but she nodded in affirmation.

"I will my dear," Larissa spoke softly. "Well, see you later."

Morticia left the room, leaving Larissa alone. Fortunately, as this gave Larissa time and peace to get ready for the Rav'n. She got into the shower, removed all the dirt of the day from her skin and then slipped into her dress.

She wondered whether she should leave her hair down or put it up and decided on a hairstyle she hadn't done for 25 years. The hair lay in open waves while the sides were pinned up and down over her head. She pulled out one side of the long pony and let the strand hang slightly curled in front of her face. Her eyes were darkly made up while her lips took on the colour of blood. Satisfied with the result, she pulled on her blazer, which matched her dress, and slipped her velvet gloves over her hands.

One last look in the mirror and complete satisfaction settled on her face. As she made her way to the hall, she met Enid. She smiled at the Principal and spoke in amazement.

"Principal Weems, you look good. The hair, it's wow. I've never seen you with your hair down. I didn't even know it was that long."

Enid was talking her head off, which made Larissa laugh.
