What has happened so far.....

After the horrific event with Enid Sinclair, Larissa and Morticia decided to put Marilyn Thornhill in their prayers after the Raven.
Safety first.
Larissa was sure it would cause a lot of turmoil before the Raven and she didn't like to think what else Miss Thornhill could be capable of. So they decided to leave Marilyn in the belief of ignorance and concentrate on the Raven.

"Mon amour," Morticia's voice rang out in the room and Larissa looked up.

"What is it darling?" she asked in response, smiling at her. She flipped her laptop shut to give Morticia her full attention.

"It's been a bit stressful the last few days, unfortunately, so I haven't had the chance, but," Morticia walked over to Larissa and sat down on the blonde's lap, wrapping her arms lovingly around her neck.

"Would you do me the honor of going to the Rav'n with me?"

Larissa looked at her, speechless. Was Morticia really going to make her public?

"Darling," she spoke softly. "Is that what you really want? I mean, I can understand if you don't want to. So," Larissa was silenced by a forefinger on her lips.

"Larissa, enough," Morticia begged, looking Larissa in the eye. "I am very serious, my dear. I have run away long enough. I want to be with you, I want to live here with you in Nevermore. I want to see our daughter graduate but more importantly I want to experience this with you by my side. I love you, my redwood. So I beg you, go with me to the Raven. As my friend, as my lover and as my partner."

Larissa was speechless. She knew Morticia was passionate, she had hated it when Gómez talked to Morticia like that. She was even sure that you were almost in danger of slipping in his slime lane if you weren't careful.

But now those days were over and the same woman from her youth sat on her lap and asked her to the ball. With a sensuality in her voice that she couldn't describe. With a warm smile that made her heart beat faster and with a love in her eyes that brought down every wall.

Larissa smiled as her eyes searched for any doubt in Morticia's gaze but found nothing.

She felt embarrassed and smiled mischievously.

"I'd love to," Larissa barely managed to say, so embarrassed did she become. What was the matter with her?

She had asked herself that question, only without a chance to ponder further, for Morticia had closed her face in her hands as she gently stroked her cheeks with her thumbs.

"I understand now," the black beauty said, causing Larissa to look questioningly. "All these years I've seen that expression. All those years when Wednesday would accidentally smile as soon as she felt unobserved. It was your smile. It was that beautiful smile that I always love about you. And a smile that made every darkness to light. This light that gave me the support to survive my visions. And that, my dear, that's what you are for Wednesday.

You bring the light, into her darkness, you make her shine brighter than I ever could do. And I thank you from the bottom of my heart, Larissa, for being there for her these past months. I hope you will continue to be, because Wednesday really adore and needs her mom."
