Neytiri rushed into Tsireya's family pod with a bowl of yalnabark & water while all the men stood in a distance, holding Neteyam down as he heard my excruciating cries.
Ronal massaged my swollen womb as I cried out to the ceiling, hyperventilating as I watched Kiri & Tuk looking down over my head to check my eyes. The room was spinning & i was thirsty. Feeling the stinging pain on my back & my inner thighs, it was too much to bear all at once.
"We need Tsireya's help! where is she?! where is my daughter?! get her now!" Ronal screamed to the entrance.
Tonowari & my dad ran immediately after hearing Ronal's demanding shriek, fearing for her scolding & nagging later in the day. While Neytiri sat beside me, she wiped my forehead with a cold cloth dipped in fresh water.
"I c-cant.. mother. Please help me!" I grabbed Neytiri's hand.
"It will be over soon my child! please hold on a little longer!" tears filled her eyes as she watched me squirm in pain.
"This is difficult for her body, she is not a full Na'Vi!" Ronal looked at Neytiri.
"I do not care what she is! you will help my daughter! you, are, TSAHIK! It is what you are suppose to do. Your duty!" Neytiri stood her ground.
"I don't think she needs this energy around her right now!" Kiri voiced out to her mother & Ronal.
Tsireya then bursted in with a thick cloth & a bowl of my favourite berries, panting like she ran a mile in 30 seconds. Rushing over to her mother's side, she proceeded to massage my legs to avoid any eye contact.
"Im sorry mother! I just wanted to get some things for Vi" she faced down with shame.
"I-its okay Reya, you're here now. Ev-eryone I love is h-here" I smiled wearily at the women in the room.
"She's going to pass out! give her the herbed soup!" Kiri pointed at the bowl of purple liquid in a bowl behind her mother.
Neytiri lifted my head gently as I groan in pain & discomfort, slowly drinking the revolting liquid. I coughed with my chest & laid back down. The pain was soon subsided & the room stopped spinning. My vision was clear & I could finally see what was Ronal doing.
Neytiri & Real knew best in birth. My dad on the other hand, was right outside instructing the ladies on how the baby should come out of me. I mean we did study on the Na'Vi anatomy & the life cycle. But it's me we're talking about.
Gross dad.
"Ma'Jake!" Neytiri warned her husband.
My dad was then dragged away like how Neteyam was. No male was allowed near the pod till the baby was given birth & it completely freaked me out. I needed Neteyam by my side & I didn't cared about the damn rules.
"P-please.. Nete-yam" I called for him, pointing at the line of sunlight coming in from the creak of the entrance.
"No my child! He can't come in yet till your son is born" Neytiri caressed my head-
"This is it! Push Violet!" Ronal's eyes widened.
The pain I felt was unexplainable. Strong cramps to the abdomen, groin & back. My screams reached to shores that sent shivers down the fishermen's backs, causing the ilus to lead towards the rocks.
"Ma'Vi! Hang in there! for me! for our baby!" Neteyam yelled out the outside in distress.
I could hear him struggle to get out of the men's grips, groaning, hitting & fighting back as they held him down with all their strength, including his father. Contemplating to tie him if was too much for them to handle.
