"Aren't we all bound in one way or another?"
Since Abigael made the decision to place herself into a deep slumber, to come to terms with the knowledge Lucifer provided. All seemed well, and calm. She was coming to terms with the fact of it all. But...

It took me about ten tries to get remotely anywhere near New York. By then, I used up all of my 'juice', and had to hitch a ride the rest of the way. It took a few days of travelling, but I finally made it outside of my apartment complex. I stared up at the building, a small smile etching onto my lips. As this place was familiar to me, and brought me joy. I entered the building and headed straight for the elevator, the lobby was elegant as you would expect a fancy complex to be. I stepped into the elevator and pressed the penthouse button. The doors closed with a ding, and the elevator jolted slightly as I felt that we were moving up. I watched the numbers carefully, as it was a steady increase to the top floor.
Within seconds, the elevator dinged and the doors opened. My eyes widened in horror, as the small hallway before the doors, but the thing was there was no front door. It had been smashed in. I stepped out of the elevator, my heels clicking against the marble of the hallway, before I came to the front door. I peered inside, still seeing it dark and dusty. My feet stepped on the broken wood as I transverse the floor, making myself through. Once the wood from the door stopped a few inches into the room, I noticed that things were not the same as when I left.
My eyes darted across the living room, seeing the furniture tossed over, glasses broken from within the kitchen. The place was ransacked as if the intruder was looking for something specific. I made my way into the bedroom, seeing the destructive sight; the wardrobe smashed, bed flipped over, the vanity table spilled with jewellery, expensive jewellery at that. But that was left as it was.
"What were they searching for?" I pondered the question under my breath, as whoever ransacked my apartment was looking for something very specific. Clearly they did not find it. Being around as long as I have, you tend to pick up objects that are valuable in wealth and some personal to me. Of course, I wouldn't leave objects lying around in the back room. They were stored somewhere safe, where no one could get them besides me. That's what I could only think of on why my place was destroyed, to find the objects. At least I had the most valuable one on me...

I did my best to fix my apartment, restoring it to its former glory. Without full access to my magic, it was hard to get certain things done. But nevertheless, I persevered and got new furniture, new everything. And it cost a pretty penny, but then again I'm thankful they didn't steal the cash. It took me about a week to get everything sorted, and look somewhat back to normal. Suddenly, the telephone beside the couch began to ring. I knitted my eyebrows together, before walking on over, and reaching for the receiver, before picking it up and placing it to my ear.
"Hello," my voice rang free, as I heard some heavy breathing.
"Abby, it's me," Bobby's voice rang in my ear. "I need your help with something," a request that I didn't think I would hear from another hunter. "It doesn't involve you coming here. I just need some information on how to summon a ghost," my speciality, well whatever story depicts us as.
