A Bunch of A-Holes

At Nova Headquarters. Gamora stands in a room. Dey and Saal stand in another observation room facing Gamora.
"Gamora. Surgically modified and trained as a living weapon. The adopted daughter of the Mad Titan, Thanos. Recently, Thanos lent her and her sister Nebula out to Ronan, which leads us to believe that Thanos and Ronan are working together." Dey said

Rocket was next.
"Subject 89P13. Calls itself Rocket. The result of illegal genetic and cybernetic experiments on a lower life form." Dey informed.
"What the hell?" Saal said when looking at Groot.
"They call it Groot. A humanoid plant that's been traveling recently as 89P13's personal house plant slash muscle." Dey looked back at Saal.

Next was Mara.
"Mara Grace McFly. Hung around Subject 89P13 and Groot since she was 16. Originally from Terra. She's half Asgardian. Don't know how she got all the way out here but has been in many prisons since she was 10."
Dey said. They watched as Mara yawned.

Now it was Peter's turn.
"Peter Jason Quill, from Terra. Raised from youth by a band of mercenaries called the Ravagers, led by Yondu Udonta." Dey said.
Quill winds up his middle finger and flips the bird at them
"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know how this machine worked." Peter smirked.
"What a bunch of a-holes." Saal said. Dey smiles. "Transport all four to the Kyln." Saal informed.

The five of them are taken to The Kyln, High Security Prison. They walk through the hallway in a line.
"I guess most of the Nova Corps wanna uphold the laws, but these ones here, they're corrupt and cruel." Rocket went off. Mara rolled her eyes. "But, hey, that's not my problem. I ain't gonna be here long. I've escaped 22 prisons, this one's no different. With Groot and Mara we'll be outta here before you know it." Rocket said, elbowing Mara's leg. "You're lucky the broad showed up, because otherwise, me, Mara and Groot would be collecting that bounty right now, and you'd be getting drawn and quartered by Yondu and those Ravagers." Rocket said to Quill.
"I've had a lot of folks try to kill me over the years. I ain't about to be brought down by a tree, a talking raccoon and some random girl." Peter said.
"Hold." The guard said. They all stopped.
"What's a raccoon?" Rocket asked.
""What's a raccoon?" It's what you are, stupid." Peter said. Mara was sick of this guy Peter's attitude towards her friend. So, she kicked the back of his shin.
"Oww! What the hell!?" He turned and looked at Mara. She had a look that could kill.
"Be happy I have these on." Mara lifted her cuffed hands. "I'd cut your tongue out." Mara informed. Rocket and Groot were her family. She wasn't going to have a guy push them around. They all started to walk.
"Ain't no thing like me, 'cept me." Rocket said as they are being led to their cell.
"So, this orb has a real shiny blue suitcase, Ark of the Covenant, Maltese Falcon sort of vibe. What is it?" Peter asked.
"I am Groot." Groot said.
"So what? What's the Orb?" Peter ask Gamora.
"I have no words for an honorless thief." Gamora said, walking forward. Behind her Rocket scoffed.
"Pretty high and mighty coming from the lackey of a genocidal maniac." Mara said. Gamora looks at Mara. She stood in the back behind Peter, in front of Groot.
"Yeah, I know who you are. Anyone who's anyone knows who you are." Rocket said.
"Yeah, we know who you are." Peter said. He leaned back to Mara and Groot. "Who is she?" Peter asked.
"I am Groot." Groot said. Mara chuckled.
"Yeah, you said that." Peter said looking back at the walking tree.
"I wasn't retrieving the orb for Ronan." Everyone looked forward to Gamora. "I was betraying him. I had an agreement to sell it to a third party." She informed.
"I am Groot." Groot said.
"Well, that's just as fascinating as the first 89 times you told me that. What is wrong with Giving Tree, here?" Peter asked.
"Well, he don't know talking good like me and you. So his vocabulistics is limited to..." Rocket said but Mara finished for him.
" "I" and "am" and "Groot". Exclusively in that order." Mara finished. Peter scoffed as he looked back at Mara.
"I tell you what, that's gonna wear real thin, real fast." Peter said, talking about Groot and Mara's attitude.
