Just like with any other DXD story, The ORC gets mad at Issei who fails to confess, however Ravel defends him much to his joy and relief, then in a crucial moment, Issei loses his temper and snaps and reveals the reason why and storms out. There at...
(a/n: going to skip a bit to where Ravel chews them out)
"How dare all of you! You all just ganged up on Issei-sama all because he can't confess!? That's a lowblow for all of you!" Ravel screamed in anger while calling out the ORC. "There might be a reason why Issei-sama can't confess, like he has a trauma of some sort! Yet none of you didn't give a shit to what he feels!!!" added the Phenex girl furiously.
Ravel's words gave Issei some ephiphany and took a deep breath. "She's right...none of you realize what i really feel...all of you..." growled the brunette clearly trying to hold back his rage. "The reason i can't confess is because of a trauma i had before all this!" screamed Issei in rage. "But first let me get something off my chest...Kiba i thought you'd defend me! What ever happened to bros man!? No! You sided with President over my feelings!? What kind of friend are you!? The same goes for you too Gasper! I thought you'd have my back, but nooooo! Even you Irina! You're supposed to be my childhood friend, but you didn't even defended me but joined in the berating! You're no better than her at all!" screamed Issei in pure rage while catching his breath.
"Issei, i don't understand what you meant by what you said. What do you mean by trauma?" asked Akeno utterly confused. "Raynare, the fallen angel bitch just like you Akeno. She's the reason why i couldn't confess! Now get out of my way! After all i'm just a tool to you all right!? Move it!" growled Issei pushing everyone aside as he stormed out and went somewhere to cool off.
"I can't believe any of you! You all berated Issei while he still had some trauma when he was nearly killed!? Shame on all of you!!" Ravel screamed trying to holding back her tears. "How can we know that he is still afraid of women!?" asked Akeno clearly shocked at Issei's words. "Maybe when during those times he refused all your advances. You people really sicken me! He did everything for you all and this is how you repay him!? You jerks don't deserve him as a man or a friend when you couldn't understand him! Screw you all!!!" screamed Ravel in a furious retort as she angrily left the room as the ORC were left to process what Issei and Ravel said.

''Damn it! I'm really just a tool President!? If so, then you should have just let me die!" screamed Issei while holding back his tears and failing. "[Partner...]" whispered Ddraig in sorrow. "I really don't want to lose it here you know...i really don't want to..." sobbed Issei hearing the hosts of the Booster Gear telling him to use the Juggernaut Drive but refused upon hearing a beautiful singing voice. "Where's that voice coming from?" wondered Issei hearing someone singing and it was female and it was soothing his mind and soul and healing his mental scar from today.

Soon the song ended and Issei found the source of the voice...it was...a mermaid, Issei was shocked that he never saw one before. Sure he knows that they exist but he never saw one up close. Her tail was indigo colored while her hair was a light indigo blue which was also the color of her eyes. Her very appearance made Issei's heart race.
