Enjoy!
....
"So Madison, what do you do in your spare time?" Mr. McAdams asks, taking a sip of his wine.Aside from watching Netflix, sleeping, eating and googling pictures of Ryan Gosling then... nothing.
I swallow my food before replying. "Well, um.. not much I guess. I draw sometimes, but just to kill time."
Dylan's dad nods in approval before taking a spoonful mashed potatoes.
"How about you, Dylan?" My dad asks beside me.
Dylan smirks, damn that stupid smirk of his. "Well, I play football."
My dad raises an eyebrow, clearly amused. My dad was a jock when he was in high school, he was the 'bad boy' back then. My mom was the nobody in high school, they got married. It didn't end up as well as the books pictures it to be.
I roll my eyes as the conversation about football start between the three.
"Do you play any sports, Madison?" Mr. McAdams asks after noticing how silent I have become.
"Nope," I confess shamelessly, "how about you, Mr. McAdams?"
"James." He corrects me for the third time tonight. "And yes, I play golf, with your father actually."
"Sorry, I'm not used to calling adults by their names," I admit.
"You'll get used to it," Dylan says with a wink at the end. I roll my eyes.
.....
"Why don't you and Dylan go and watch TV?" My dad offers, giving me a don't-you-dare-say-no look.
I sigh and stands up nonetheless, with Dylan following me. I can even imagine him smirking behind me. "Fine."
"So, what do you want to watch?" Dylan asks, popping to the seat on the couch beside me.
I scoot over, adding some distance between us. I turn on the TV and settle on a channel that's currently playing The Avengers. I personally am not a big fan of this movie but Chris Evan's face just makes everything seem great. Chris Evan's face makes everything better.
"I look far better than him."
I look up at him who's smirking evilly at me. I shake my head, "I'm just going to pretend that you didn't just say that."
"I just did. Don't deny the fact that you drool over me too." He says proudly.
That egoistic, self-esteemed, self-lover, annoying, useless, lazy, man whore, Mr. McPopular, smirk faced bastard.
I'm insulting him without him even knowing, that's how awesome I am.
I glare at him. "I believe that it's illegal that to say that you look better than Chris Evans, except if you're Ryan Gosling. And no, I do not drool over you, Adams. You're not drool-worthy enough."
He raises an eyebrow, still smirking. "For the record, it's McAdams. And you just checked me out earlier in the parking lot. I'm used to it, Steele, don't worry."
Ew.
I turn my attention back to the movie that's currently playing. Hello there Chris. Well, technically there's two Chris, Hemsworth and Evans. Both hottie, so it works both ways.
"Well, I guess it's getting late. Time for me and Dylan to go, don't you think?" Mr. McA- I mean James says from behind us, interrupting my drooling moment.
