"No." In no way was I going to get a ride from him, especially with that motorcycle of his. It's not that I'm scared or anything. To be honest, I don't even slightly fear motorcycles, since my brother once had this obsession with it and he usually brings me.
Dylan raises a brow, clearly amused. "So how are you going to get home, huh?"
"I have my ways." I say, crossing my arms around my chest.
"And how is that?" He asks with a confident smirk plastered on his lips.
I open my mouth to answer but can't seem to find anything to say. Dang it. "Where is your car?" I ask in reply.
"Home."
I furrow my eyebrows. "Why don't you drive your car?"
"Because I don't feel like it?" He says. "Just hop on, sunshine, it's not like you'll die or anything. I'll keep you perfectly safe." He winks.
I'll keep you perfectly safe.
Shut it, Madison. He doesn't mean it, nothing he says is true, I tell myself.
I consider his offer for a good five seconds. He has a point, I have no way of getting home, I'm practically stranded in school. Not to mention that it will get dark soon.
"Fine." I sigh in defeat, his smirk grew bigger. I just want to smack that freaking smirk off his gorgeous face. But as much as the urge is killing me, I still need a ride home.
I hop on to the motorcycle with ease, immediately smelling Dylan's signature scent. How can one smell so good? I should youtube a tutorial to smell that good or something. He puts on a black helmet on my head, ruining my already ruined ponytail. Does that even make sense?
Anyways.
"You should hold on to me if you want to die." He says, glancing at me. "But unless you do, you're free to fall."
I really don't want to do this.
For the sake of my existence, I wrap my hands lightly around his torso. My heart starts beating furiously from the interaction, and I'm sure that my cheeks are pink by now.
"I could get used to this." He chuckles.
My cheeks turn warmer. "Shut up and just go."
He lets out an attractive laugh before starting the motorcycle. He rides the motorcycle at full speed, causing the wind to blow at us. My hair is messily everywhere, especially my face. I really need a haircut.
Not long after, we arrive at my house gates. "I could walk from here," I say, causing him to stop the motorcycle. I hop off the motorcycle and take off the helmet, handing it back to Dylan.
His hair is messy since he lent his helmet to me. Strands of hairs were sticking out in various angles. But he seems to look good, unlike me who constantly look like a homeless person."Thanks." I murmur while releasing my hair from its disoriented ponytail.
He shrugs. "No problem, sunshine."
I roll my eyes at the nickname, it doesn't even make sense. Why sunshine? I walk away, greeting Adam as I pass his post. I glance back at the spot where Dylan's motorcycle was a few seconds ago.
I really need to stay away from him, before it's too late.

"Finnick is so hot." Allison swoons, staring dreamily at the TV screen. It's currently a Saturday night, Ally, Marvin and I are currently in my room, watching Hunger games; Catching fire for our weekly movie night.
"Hunger games movies freaks me out." Marvin states. "Who the hell send kids into an arena to kill each other?"
"President Snow does." Ally states while munching on some caramel popcorn.
Marvin rolls his eyes. "It still freaks me out. I don't like this movie."
"I don't mind as long as there's a hot guy."
Marvin shakes his head. "But I'm straight.."
I glare at both of the idiots. "Can you guys shut it? If you keep talking I swear to God I'll build an arena and lock both of you there."
"Yes, ma'am." They say in giggles.
...
"Let's watch another!" Ally cheers. It is currently around 9 PM and we just finished watching Catching Fire.
"I'm picking this time!" Marvin reaches to my disc box to search for some movies.
I place my bowl of chips down to the carpeted floor. "So are you still up for Friday?" Ally asks, looking at me with those big green eyes.
I rack my mind and sigh, remembering that my dad and I are going to the McAdam's. "I think we should re-schedule, my dad made another dinner appointment with the McAdams."
Her eyes widen. "OMG! You're going to have dinner with Dylan again?! Oh Lord, I'm totally shipping you guys! Both of you will really make cute babies!"
I choke on the soda that I'm currently drinking. "What?"
"Hey, guys! How about we watch The Breakfast Club?" Marvin offers.
"We watched that like last week, dumbo." Ally states.
I roll my eyes, I really don't want to hear any more of their idiotic arguments. "I'll pick. TFIOS?"
"Gaah, I'm going to need a box of tissues." Ally says but nods anyway.
"You're exaggerating." Marvin scoffs.
...
Ally is already sobbing and the movie isn't even halfway through.
Marvin turns his head to Ally, who is sitting beside me. "Are you crying?"
Allison ignores him.
Marvin throws a popcorn at her. "Are you crying?"
Ally turns to him with an annoyed face. "No, I'm not. I'm peeing through my eyes. What the hell do you think?"
"I wa-"
Before another argument can start, I take 2 pillows from behind me and push it on each of their faces. "Shut up you two."
"-She is so beautiful. You don't get tired of looking at her. You never worry if she is smarter than you: You know she is. She is funny without ever being mean. I love her. I am so lucky to love her. You don't get to choose if you get hurt in this world, old man, but you do have some say in who hurts you. I like my choices. I hope she likes hers." Marvin mouths the words fluently, not noticing that I have been looking at him in disbelief.
How in the world does he know the words?
His head finally snaps to look at us. "What?"
I raise a brow as if asking him the question, while Ally is sniffing beside me, oblivious about the situation.
"It's a good book!" He defends.
"Sure.." I roll my eyes at his excuse, he is definitely a geek behind all those player act.
"This is so sad.." Ally sniffs. "Why does Augustus have to die, I-I mean like.." She shutters, breaking down to tears.
"Everybody dies, get over it." Marvin scoffs.
"I'm not asking for you're opinion, Benjamin." She saps.
I sigh, I have to deal with these people every day. I can't even remember why I'm friends with these idiots.
Oh yeah.
Because I'm one too.
