dreams comes true.
Wooyoung's heart raced as he hung up the phone. He couldn't believe it - the dance company had practically begged him to come overseas with them. This was his chance to pursue his dream, but he didn't know how to tell San.
He turned to YeoSang, who was grinning from ear to ear. "I can't believe it! This is amazing!" YeoSang exclaimed, giving Wooyoung a hug.
Wooyoung smiled weakly, feeling guilty for not telling San yet. "I know...it's just that I don't know how to tell San," he said, his voice filled with worry.
As much as Yeosang wanted to support Wooyoung, he couldn't help but feel a hint of frustration towards San. "I mean, come on Wooyoung! San can't hold you back from your dreams. You have to do what's best for you," he said, scoffing slightly.
Wooyoung frowned, feeling a little hurt by Yeosang's words. "I know that, Yeosang. But San is my husband and I can't just leave without telling him," he said, defending San.
Yeosang rolled his eyes. "I get that, but you have to think about yourself too. If this is your dream, then you have to pursue it," he said, trying to convince Wooyoung.
Wooyoung shook his head. "I understand where you're coming from, Yeosang. But I need to talk to San first. He's my partner and I want to make sure we're on the same page," he said, standing up from the couch.
Yeosang sighed, realizing that he couldn't change Wooyoung's mind. "Okay, I get it. But just remember that your dreams come first," he said, giving Wooyoung a hug.
Wooyoung hugged him back, feeling grateful for Yeosang's support. But he knew that he had to talk to San first before making any decisions. He didn't want to hurt him or their relationship.
Wooyoung dreaded to go home when the company called him for a second time. His heart raced as he walked home, still undecided about what to do. He couldn't believe that the dance company had given him an ultimatum - he had just one hour to decide whether he wanted to go overseas with them and tour with a famous girl group, or stay with San.
As he walked up the steps to his apartment, his heart felt heavy with dread. He knew that San would be waiting for him, and he didn't know how to tell him about the offer.
As soon as he opened the door, San rushed towards him, giving him a warm embrace. "Hey, you're back! How was your day?" he asked, his eyes shining with love.
Wooyoung forced a smile, trying to put on a brave face. "It was fine. Just a long day," he said, trying to avoid the topic.
San frowned, sensing that something was wrong. "Is everything okay, Wooyoung? You seem off," he said, his voice filled with concern.
Wooyoung took a deep breath, feeling the weight of the decision on his shoulder but he get another call . it's yeosang, he picks it up and place his phone to his ear.
"Dude! they called me saying they want me to be Blackpink back up dancers, and Jaesung said they contacted you too??? What's the hold up" Yeosang pressures wooyoung. wooyoung walks into the kitchen leaving san in the livingroom so he doesn't hear their conversation.
"I haven't talk to san about it yet ." Wooyoung admits, yeosang let's and a dramatic "oh my gosh, Dude! be realistic! if san loves you he'll let you do this-Jaesung is with me."
Before wooyoung could say something he hears movement and the Head dance leader was on the phone now,"Wooyoung i beg! we need you! and there two more spots left before the deal is -"
"Fine!" wooyoung yells.
he hears cheering through the phone,"Yay! start packing because we have a flight to LA tomorrow 9pm."
"What so soon!?" Wooyoung panicked, he didn't understand how unorganized and overwhelmed it felt."Yes see you tomorrow." Jaesung reminds him before bidding a goodbye.
Wooyoung hung up the phone, feeling a mix of excitement and anxiety. He knew that this was a huge opportunity, but he also felt guilty about not talking to San about it yet. He quickly walked back into the living room, where San was waiting for him.
"Is everything okay?" San asked, looking up at Wooyoung with concern.
Wooyoung took a deep breath. "They just called me. They want me to be a backup dancer for Blackpink, and they're flying us to LA tomorrow ."
San's eyes widened in surprise, "What do you mean?"
"I-um, San listen i audition as a joke but they practically begged me. I couldn't say no." wooyoung says in a whisper.
"But i said no, you have to call them and decline!" San yells, making wooyoung jumps hearing the anger in his husband voice.
"San think -"
"no you think! "San cuts wooyoung off, feeling rightfully betrayed. "You're thinking about yourself and not us!" San eyes that was usually warm, was not lit up in anger. He w couldn't believe wooyoung.
Wooyoung felt a pang of guilt as he looked at San's upset expression. He knew that he had acted impulsively, and he should have talked to San before making any decisions.
"I'm sorry, San. I should have talked to you first. I just got caught up in the moment and I didn't want to miss out on this opportunity," Wooyoung explained, feeling ashamed of himself.
San sighed, his expression softening a little. "I understand why you wanted to do this, Wooyoung. But we're a team, and we make decisions together. I don't want you to go away and leave me behind."
Wooyoung nodded, "I'm sorry, San. I promise I won't make any decisions without talking to you first." He looks at san,"But."
"but what?" San asked concern.
"If i go to this tour i can make a lot of money." wooyoung finish his sentence and San groans.
"You aren't getting it wooyoung."
"san im sorry, i can't decline now i have to go." Wooyoung says hoping San would let this slide and understand. But to sans logic it wasn't making any sense.
"No you're not." simply says turning around to leave the room,"and that's final."
"San!" wooyoung calls but was ignored when he hears the door slams.
-
"he doesn't want me to go." wooyoung cries softly, while being on facetime with yeosang and mingi.
"he's so prideful, seeing you getting what you want is definitely making him jealous." Yeosang comments, and mingi rolls his eyes.
"I'm sure that's not the case, Wooyoung san loves you and supports everything you do. I'm sure he has a reason." Mingi defends his friend, he doesn't understand why yeosang hated san so much.
"yeah right, it's not like wooyoung has to pay for anything. he's being paid, plus it's not like he's living in america." yeosang defends wooyoung , trying to see things from his friend's perspective.
Wooyoung wiped away his tears, feeling conflicted. "I know, but I feel like I'm betraying him by doing this without his approval."
Mingi nodded understandingly. "I get it, but you also have to pursue your dreams and take opportunities when they come. Maybe you can talk to San and come up with a compromise that works for both of you."
Yeosang scoffed. "I don't know why you're even listening to Mingi, Wooyoung. He doesn't know anything about relationships."
Mingi rolled his eyes. "And you do?"
Yeosang bristled. "I know enough to see that San is holding Wooyoung back."
Wooyoung felt uncomfortable with the tension between his friends, but he appreciated their support. "Thank you both for your advice. I'll talk to San and see if we can come up with a solution."
As he hung up the phone, Wooyoung felt a mix of emotions. He still felt guilty about not talking to San first, but he also knew that he had to pursue his dreams. He just hoped that he and San would understand. Wooyoung phone rings nonflying that he has a text message .
yeosang: i get it he's your husband but san isn't your father please don't back down from this great opportunity.
