{7} Boo!

I mostly stayed in the play structures while I was with Sun and Moon. Those things have so many corners to hide in!

'Out of sight, out of mind.'
Isn't that how the saying goes?

~~~
I sat in the ballpit, mainly trying to avoid other kids. If kids started talking to me, they would snitch on me with the security guard.
And I don't want that, thank you very much.
I tossed a red ball into the air and caught it. I repeated this over and over. It gets boring being alone all the time.
I sat up and yawned. My eyes were getting sore from sleepiness.
I froze. Was that movement I saw next to me?
I shifted slightly, getting a good look into the plastic balls.
"BOOO!" A face jumped out, making me scream.
I may or may not have kicked them in the face.
"OW!" The kid cried out, covering their face with their hands.
"That's what you get for scaring me!" I hissed.
Getting a good look at them, I noticed I didn't kick their face, I kicked their mask. They were wearing a Foxy mask--but it wasn't Glamrock Foxy, it was the original Foxy, from a very long time ago.
"Who are you anyways?" I spat, inching away from them.
They lifted up their mask, revealing a bruised nose and deep blue eyes.
"Alex." He grumbled, rubbing his nose, "I need an ice-pack now."
I laughed. "You have an eggplant for a nose!"
He flushed in embarrassment. "I do not!"
"Do to! Look at yourself."
"Whatever." He climbed out of the ballpit, just as Sun's voice called out, signaling it was time for naptime.
I followed behind him, mainly because we were walking in the same direction.
Sun glanced at us both and gasped.
"Sunbeam are you alright? What happened?"
Alex grumbled. "I got kicked in the nose by them!" He pointed at me.
"Hey! Your the one who gave me a scare!" I snapped, grabbing a sleeping bag.
"Yeah yeah." He rolled his eyes.
"Now Alex, what did I say about scaring other kids?" Sun scolded.
Alex said something else but I couldn't hear it. I was already too far away and too focused on getting ready for a nap.
It felt like that scare drained all my energy from me.
"Alright kiddos! Time to count down!" Sun's voice came from somewhere to my right.
I sigh and clutch my plushies close to my chest.
The lights soon turn off and I see two glowing red eyes.
"Now Starbeams, it's time to sleep and get your energy back." Moon smiled as he hovered over our sleeping bags.
"Okay." Many kids replied back, getting settled in their bags.
I let a yawn escape my mouth and closed my eyes.
Even as I drifted to sleep, I could feel Moons eyes looking over at me. Without thinking, a sentence escaped my mouth automatically.
"Good night Moon.."
.
..
...
"Good night starlight."
~~~
Knock knock

"Cwome win!" I responded.
Mama poked her head in.
"How's is going pumpkin?" She asked.
I kicked my legs from underneath my desk.
"Just dwawing Mama." I smiled, showing a picture of a dog in a flower field.
"Wow, that's amazing sweetie." She clasped her hands, "Listen, Mama's going to the grocery store--does Y/N want to come with me?"
I shook my head. "No tanks Mama, I wanna work on my dwawing!"
She nodded respectively. "Alright, I'll be back soon okay?"
She ruffled my hair.
"Yesh Mama!" I looked back at my drawing and grabbed a brown crayon.

Distant sirens...

~~~
I rubbed my eyes, feet clambering around me.
I raise me head a tad to see kids already leaving with parents. My heart drops just a little as I watch them.
I stand up, gripping my soft plushies close. I roll up the sleeping bag with one hand and hand it to Sun, who was waving goodbye to the last child.
"Thank you Sunbeam!" He smiled.
I nodded, still half asleep.
As I began to walk away, Sun grabbed my shoulder.
"How about we do something fun together Sunshine!" He smiled, "It's not time for Moon to go on his patrol yet."
I shrugged and Sun extended his hand. I grabbed it and he swung me around.
"WEEEEE!" He laughed while spinning around and around. It felt like my eyes were about to fly off my face.
Finally, Sun put me on the ground and placed his hands on his puffy pants.
"Fingerpainting! How does that sound?" He smiled down at me.
I, who was still trying to regain focus from a spinning room, nodded once more as Sun dragged me towards the tables.
I have a feeling this will be quite a while.
~~~
Moon left a few minutes ago on patrol. I tried falling asleep but it felt like I drank a soda drink.

I tossed and turned, counted sheep, blinking multiple times to see if my eyes would get tired. Nothing worked. Eventually, I just stood up and walked to the Daycare doors.

I could see staff bots roaming around, small flashlights in their hands. I could probably sneak past them, if I didn't need a flashlight too.

I scratched my chin and glanced at the Glamrock Freddy clock that hung just above the door. 12:00. Moon doesn't come back until six.
I look back at the door and gently creaked it open. Turning my head, I make sure the coast is clear. Then, with the help of a flashlight, I left the Daycare. I wonder if any of the other animatronics are out.

Turns out, I don't need to look very far to find my answer.
