Whispers followed Ella from the moment she left her dormitory the next day. People lining up outside classrooms stood on tiptoe to get a look at her, or doubled back to pass her in the corridors again, staring.

"Are you famous too?" Ella asked, turning to Draco

Ella stood on the right side of Draco as they walked to class, Crabbe and Goyle stood on his left.

"They're not looking at me," Draco told her "they're all looking at you. They're looking for your scar."

"My lightning scar?" Ella asked

"So you do have one?" Draco questioned

"Of course," Ella replied

"Where?" Crabbe asked

"Don't ask her that!" Draco looked at him annoyed

"It's fine really," Ella chuckled before rolling up her right sleeve

The trio looks over at Ella's right wrist to see the lightning shaped scar identical to the one on her brother's forehead.

"At least yours isn't showcased where everyone can see." Draco laughed "I mean I'd die if i had that ugly thing on my head."

"Oh," Ella said looking slightly disheartened "Sorry."

"I didn't mean it like-" Draco stopped himself and sighed "Not yours.. sorry."

"It's alright really," Ella smiled "It is hideous."

The week had gone by before she even noticed, with constant redirection from her father, Ella was never late to class. Having Draco help guide her was a big help too. Every time she went to turn down the wrong hall, he would grab her and pull her in the right direction. Ella was worried if someone as big as a clutz as her would survive in such a big school.

Occasionally, Slytherin's would have classes with other houses, including Gryffindor. Every time she saw her twin brother, she would grow nervous and avoid him. He must think she hated him by now, but that wasn't the case.

It was already Friday and she was determined to talk to her brother. Even just a word would do, without becoming a nervous wreck. What would she even say to a brother she hasn't seen since birth?

"What have we got today?" Ella asked Draco as she sat down for breakfast

"Double Potions with the Gryffindor," Draco replied "those idiots will only slow us down."

"Oh come on Draco," Ella shook her head before grabbing her food "they're not that bad."

"Trust me," Draco took a bite of his meal "they are."

Just then, the mail arrived. About a hundred owls had suddenly streamed into the Great Hall during breakfast, circling the tables until they saw their owners, and dropping letters and packages onto their laps.

This morning, Ella's owl Butterscotch fluttered down between the marmalade and the sugar bowl and dropped a note onto Ella's plate. Ella picked it up and opened it slowly. It said, in a very untidy scrawl:

Dear Ella,

I know you get Friday afternoons off, so would you like to come and have a cup of tea with me around three?

I want to hear all about your first week. Send us an answer back with Butterscotch.

Hagrid

"That's strange," Ella mutters

"What?" Draco looked at her

"Nothing," Ella smiled before writing a reply

Of course it was strange that the man Hagrid had known her since she was born, but she was very interested. Perhaps he knew a little about things her father wouldn't tell her.
