[Chapter 8: Different Thoughts, Different Reality]

I was walking towards my locker alone after I found out that Chrissy left me, alone.

I took out some of my books and entered my Math lesson class.

I was quite sad that my brother isn't here to protect me because I feel so awkward here.

The good thing is that I am sitting at the back of the class so it won't be that awkward. But the bad thing is that Vince is sitting beside me.

I didn't choose to sit with him but the freaking teacher did.

---

Our math teacher decided to go to the toilet so all of us must stay here.

The whole class stormed as soon as the teacher is out. They did stuff they aren't supposed to do in school, not disgusting ones.

I'm like a newbie around here so I just stay at my seat when the rest, including Vince, was walking around the class.

"Hey there, Kaylee," I heard an unfamiliar voice.

I turn my head to the voice's direction and found out that it was Dylan.

Shit.

"What do you want," I said, looking back at the paper that I was drawing at.

"Nothing..just wanna see what you're up to," he answered, going closer to me.

"Get away," I begged him as I look at him.

I then turn to another direction and saw Vince starring at us. He didn't look happy though.

"Why?" he asked, coming closer to me. The second thing I know is that his hand was at my hair. I turn my gaze back at my drawing.

"Get the fuck away," I begged him, sounded way more furious.

"What if I don't want to?" he answered. He continues starring at me.

"Hey!" I heard a shout.

Dylan turn his head around and we saw Vince walking towards us, furiously.

Once he was quite close with Dylan, he introduce his fist to Dylan's face.

Everyone started starring at us. I was shocked. Freaking shocked.

The popular guy punch the bully straight on the face.

I thought they would fight but instead, they didn't.

"Get the fuck away from her. Don't ever get closer to her or else-" Vince whisper furiously to him, cracking his knuckles.

Dylan didn't give any response. Instead, he walked away. Everyone stop starring at us. Thank God.

"U-Umm," I murmured. Vince heard me and turn around to face me.

"I'm doing that for Drew. He's my best friend and you're his sister. If I don't do that, he'll ask me why I didn't protect you since he's not here. You do know he's overprotective at you, right?"

"Uhmm..yea,"

"Good," he said as he walked away.

After a second, literally, the teacher came in and continue teaching us.

---

I walked towards the cafeteria alone when someone suddenly turn my whole body around and cuffed my arms.
