Collector sighed softly watching as Comet floated about in the living room "starlight, please come to papa for a second" he said tiredly. Comet zoomed over with a happy squeal; just as Luz, Gus and Willow walked into the house. "Eda! We're back-! Oh hi Collector" Luz said as she closed the door, having not noticed Collector was holding an infant. However, Gus did notice and walked over "aww, is this your sibling Collie? They're adorable!" He said, smiling at Comet as he ruffled her fuzzy purple hair. Collector snickered "no, Comet is my daughter" they responded, setting the young star on the sofa. Luz's head turned to face them immediately "Since when did Karárak get you pregnant!?" She exclaimed, completely unaware on how Comet was made or how Collector's species reproduces in general. The god looked at Luz, blushing profusely "h-he didn't-! Comet was made via a spell-" he stammered out; Comet being very confused by her parent's sudden embarrassed facial expression. Gus ruffled Collector's hair "I'm sure you'll be a great parent. And Karárak would be an equally amazing father" he said with a smile.

Collector sighed softly, it had been a few hours since the Hexsquad had met Comet and the two young stars had grown tired. Collector held Comet close to their chest; humming a quiet melody as he lulled his daughter to sleep. Eda watching from the doorway "you need anything kid?" She asked softly, not sure if Collector needed any help or not but still willing to give advice. Collector looked over "please can I have something to eat and drink? Your cooking is great" they responded with a tired tone. Eda nodded and headed to the kitchen to cook a griffin egg and bacon sandwich for Collector. Walking back upstairs with the food and a bottle of grape soda, handing them to the young god. "If you want I can watch over Comet for you later, you need some rest." Eda said with a reassuring smile. Collector smiled softly, swallowing his food "thanks Eda, I'd appreciate that.." they responded before finishing his food and drink. Eda patted his head softly "no problem kid. We're all here for ya if you need help with being a parent" she said calmly.
