"I'll always be your friend Collector"
Those were the words King said moments before they found out the truth; overhearing the baby titan talk with his family. His real family. Collector found out that it was a lie, King wasn't a true friend. He was a liar, Collector was angry but not at King. They were mad at himself for falling for the same trick a second time; upset that all their friends weren't real friends. "Why did I even think he was really my friend...? Gahh!!! I fell for the same stupid lies!" Collector snapped, his eyes welling up with tears "the others were right...I'm just a stupid child.." they mumbled, sitting on his bed with a sigh. Odalia was stood near the door, hearing the God's words made her feel oddly upset, she walked into the room "Collector? What is the matter?" She asked with a worried look in her eyes.
After half an hour of silence, Odalia gave up on trying to help Collector with their emotions. Leaving the child alone, Collector sighed "nobody wants me here...I wasn't even wanted by my own species.." he mumbled, wiping their eyes "all because I'm...different..a monster in everyone's eyes..even my own.." they whispered, curling in on himself and crying. King soon returned; seeing Collector asleep while sat up, tear stains on their face and sleeves. "What happened here..? And..why is Francois facing towards my bed..? Didn't Collector want him facing them..?" He mumbled to himself, a little bit worried that something had happened to make Collector upset.
It was rather clear to King what had happened, after a while of thinking that is. Collector had heard a small amount of his conversation with Eda and Lilith, having most likely misinterpreted something King had said. Collector was silent as they slept, King oddly deciding to stay awake to keep an eye on his friend as the God slept
