Chapter twenty three

You had gotten the sun and moon back to work in the daycare, and all the kids were so happy.

But sun and moon were very, very jealous of all the parents that constantly flirted with you.

"My kids talk about you all the time! Can I buy you coffee sometime?" They wrapped their hand around yours.

"Um..."

Suddenly, sun gripped their shoulders and turned them to face him.

"EXCUSE ME, BUT IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED IF YOU REFRAINED FROM PLACING YOUR DIRTY, DIRTY HANDS ON OUR LOVELY STAFF OR I'LL BE FORCED TO DRAG YOU TO THE TRENCHES OF- I MEAN, ASK YOU TO LEAVE THE DAYCARE."

"I am so sorry. He doesn't usually act like this. Come on sunny, back to play area. The kids are waiting." You pushed him over there.

"Ah! But sunbite-"

"You need to calm yourself." You whispered like an angry parent.

He huffed, crossing his arms and pouting.

Another parent was talking to you, not even flirting, just talking. During nap time.

Moon grabbed you and HISSED at them. Literally.

"What has gotten into you boys?" You glared at eclipse.

"They were flirting with you! We're we just supposed to sit there and do nothing?!" He crossed his arms.

"You can't lash out at them!" You insisted.

"So, we're just supposed to sit by and watch you get flirted with? How would you feel if that happened to us?"

"You know I would feel the same way, but you have to let ME take care of it. Don't you trust me?" You crossed your arms.

"Of course we do! It's THEM we don't trust. They're trying to take you away from us." He grumbled.

"Eclipse, why would I spend the whole year looking for you, just to leave? No one's going to take me away from you." You cupped his cheeks, kissing his nose. "Don't make me have to teach you another lesson! I know how smitten you boys are."

"You make a lesson sound awfully... PLEASANT, dewdrop." He smirked.

You chuckled, kissing his forehead.
