Foxy walked through the jungle-like area and looking for Roxy. He could hear the gray wolf sobbing. Then he found Roxanne in the souvenier shop of Monty Golf sitting in the corner between some plushies. She droop her ears and continued to sob.

The fox entered the souvenir shop and carefully sat down next to Roxy in the corner. He gently placed his pirate hook on her shoulder. "You're not a loser just because you can't play golf Roxy. Please stop sobbing." said the fox in a soft voice.

"But Foxy it's true I'm a loser. It's your first time playing golf and you're a lot better at it than me. Every time I try to hit that stupid golf ball in the hole I fail and the golf ball lands up in the pond or somewhere else. And Monty always has to laugh at me." said Roxanne. She didn't look at Foxy and continued to sob with hanging ears.

"No Roxy you're not a loser. You're fascinating and beautiful. You don't have to be well at everything right away I'm sure if you practice a lot you'll be able to play golf really well." said Foxy. "You have to practice everything first before you can do it well. You mustn't give up."

Then Roxy looked at the red fox. "You're right. I can't give up, I need to keep practicing golf." she said and then snuggled close to the fox. "Thanks Foxy."

Foxy flattened his ears in embarrassment as Roxanne snuggled close to him. "Um...let's go back to Monty." he then said. The wolf nodded. The two got up and left the souvenir shop to go back to Monty.

Monty was still playing golf. Roxy and Foxy came back to him. The wolf snatched the golf club from the alligator's hand. "I want to try again. This time I can do it." said Roxy.

Monty gave a short growl of anger when Roxanne snatched the golf club from his hand. "You can't do it Roxy. The golf ball lands in the pond anyway again so don't try again." said the alligator and crossed his arms.

Roxanne got ready to hit the golf ball with the golf club. "I can this. I can this now. I'm not a loser." Roxanne said to herself. She flattened her ears uncertainly.

"Don't hit the golf ball so hard with the club." Foxy said to Roxy and sat down on the wooden bench. Monty was standing by the wooden bench, still crossing his arms. Roxanne smiled at the fox and nodded. She hit the golf club lightly against the golf ball, which rolled over the golf alley and landed in the hole.

Roxy's eyes shone with joy and her tail wagged back and forth. "Oh I did it. The golf ball landed in the hole. I'n the best. I'm the best. I can play golf." said the wolf happily.

Monty looked at Roxanne and couldn't believe she had managed to hit the golf ball in the hole.

Foxy smiled. "Well done Roxy I knew you could do it." he said.

Monty adjusted his sunglasses. "It was just luck. Roxy sure is still bad at golf and that will never change." he said.

Roxanne gave the alligator a cold look and growled. "I'm good at golf now too." she said proudly.

"You've managed to hit the golf ball in the hole once that doesn't make you golf queen Roxy." Monty growled and snatched the golf club from the wolf's hand. "You'll never be able to golf as well as I do. As I said, you were just lucky, that's all."

Foxy got up from the wooden bench. "Well I think Roxy has the potential to be a good golfer." he said.

Roxanne went to the fox and snuggled up to him, tail wagging.

"Oh Foxy you really think I could be a good golfer? That's nice of you to say that but I like kart racing more. But I'm glad I managed to play golf properly." said Roxanne, gently pressing her nose against the fox's cheek.

Foxy carefully stroked the gray wolf's long silver hair with his left hand. Roxy closed her eyes and seemed to enjoy it.

Monty just rolled his eyes. "Maybe you two should visit Freddy at Fazer Blast or Chica at Mazercise now. I want to play some golf by myself." said the alligator then.

"Um...let's go to my room. Then I can show you all my golden trophies." said Roxanne to Foxy. The red fox nodded and smiled. The two left the golf area.

Monty went to the slightly more difficult golf alleys and continued golfing.
