Chapter 25

Katie's P.O.V

"Bye" i said kissing Cameron

"Bye, see you soon" he said giving my hand a quick squeeze and letting it go do that I could leave.

"See ya" I said leaving "call me"

he nodded and closed the door.

I got home and walked into the kitchen. To see my mum doing some work

I walk up to her and kiss her head as a greeting "Hey mum".

"Hi katie, can we talk?" She asks me locking her iPad and putting down the pen she was taking notes with and turned to face me.

"Sure" I reply sitting at one of the other seas at the kitchen table.

"Who is your boyfriend?" She asked looking into my eyes.

"What?"

"I saw your texts to Neve that you have a boyfriend and I want to know who it is" she told me.

"Oh yeah cameron" I don't want to lie to her there's no point, she needs to find out that my boyfriend leads one of the most wanted and dangerous Gangs in America.

Yeah I'm sure she'll be fine with that.

"That was his name, so who is he"

"Cameron Dallas" I mumble looking down

"What did you say?" She asks looking as if she thought she didn't hear me properly.

"Cameron Dallas" I said a bit louder.

"As in the... the-"

"Yes" I said looking anywhere but my mum feeling incredibly guilty about the stress this will most likely give her. 

"But, how did you meet him" she asks looking stunned and my confusion.

"Out" I bluntly reply. I don't think she needs to know how I actually met him.

"Out?"

"Hum"

"But-"

"Mum please don't try to make me break up with him because it won't work, I like him too much and... and I think he really likes me"

I burst out not wanting her to try and convince me that dating him is a bad idea or that I'm going to get my heart broken because honestly that's my mistake to make if it does happen.

She just got up and walked out the kitchen.

What am I going to do about the look of disappointment on her face. It breaks my heart to see her like that, especially directed towards me.

My mum is one of the most important people in my life and just seeing her look at me like that was heart breaking.

~next day~

Cameron's P.O.V

"Hey cam"

"Hi" I mumble to Nash

"Why are you up so late?"

"What time is it?"

"1:00"

"Damn it's early" I mumble to myself confused over why I'm always up so early at the moment.

Nash just laughed at me.

I walked out to the shed in the garden to sort through some packets of weed.

Jack and I have a customer today.

I decided to talk to jack about the whole Katie situation because it's causing tension in the whole house, is two not talking to each other.

After I was done getting all the packets of weed and a few packets of crystallised meth I walked back into the house and to go and get this deal over with.

"JACK" I yelled up the stairs trying to gain his attention.

"WHAT?"

"LETS GO"

"OK"

jack walked down the stairs and walked towards the door me following.

We get in the car and head of to the place were we usually meet this guy.

The whole car journey was silent and awkward I really can't be bothered with this conversation but all the guys have been pushing me to.

We pulled up outside the guys house and walked up to it.

Jack knocked on the door whilst I fiddled with the packets not knowing how to deal with this awkward atmosphere that seemed to constantly surround us at the moment.

Cole opened the door and smirked when he gaze fell on us with the stuff that he craved.

"Got the stuff?" He asked already knowing we do.

"Maybe depends you got the money" I ask intimidatingly staring him down causing him to squirm under my heavy gaze.

Cole owes us money for the last three sales and if he doesn't pay up he's defiantly dead.

"Actually I do" he says handing Jack and I $160.

I handed him the packets and walked away counting the money.

"See you soon" Cole says to Jack and I

Jack gave him a weird stare, kind of saying, what the fuck. whilst I just ignored him still counting Th notes in my hand.

The car ride home was silent and awkward again the both of us not daring to bring up the one topic that was lingering in the air.

Katie.

As soon as we get home I think I'm going to talk to him.

Ugh I can't be asked with this.

We got back to the house and as we were walking up the road I decided now would be a good time.

"Hey jack can I talk to you?" I asked scratching the back of my neck.

"Yeah sure" jack sighed knowing what I am going to say.

I cleared my throat before speaking
"You know Katie and I are dating-"

"What about it" he said rolling his eyes. I could feel my blood boiling as he did that but I remained calm not wanting this to end up in a fight and for things to be ten times more awkward than they already were.

I started fiddling with my eyebrow piercing slightly distracting my self from the situation.

"Well I just wanted to make sure you weren't going to try and make a move on her" I admit looking at him and moving my hand to my side instead of having it at my eye.

"Of course I won't cam, she's your girl and I would never do that to you. I might be pissed of with this situation but I wouldn't ever do anything"

"Thanks bro" not knowing how to respond to him and just decide that we should leave it at that

But I still have this nawing feeling at the back of my mind that things are going a bit to well and that something is going to ruin that.
