Chapter 38

Katie's P.O.V

It's been about a week since the park and me and Cameron have texted, called and met up a few times as friends.

You would think we would hate it and it would be really awkward but it's not. I actually really like being his friend.

I'm actually going round his today to hang out.

I asked if I could bring Neve because I know she has a little crush on Nash and to be honest I think he had one on Neve. I'm not surprised really she is a really amazing person.

I drive over to Neve's to pick her up. And I pull up outside her house I get out the car and walk into her house.

"Hey bitch" I say as I walk into her lounge.

"Hey hoe" she replies getting up.

"Ready to go see Nash" I say nudging her.

"What are you talking about" she asks going red.

"Oh nothing" I smirk and walk out the house Neve following.

"How is everything with you and Cameron" Neve asks shutting the car door.

"Good actually"

"Wow I thought it would be really awkward"

"Me too, I thought we would have lots of awkward small talk and short texts but nope it's the same as it always was. You know just minus the couple stuff".

After about 15 minutes Neve and I arrive at the boys' house.

We both get out and walk up to the door. Neve knocks a few times. Nash opens the door and his gaze goes straight to Neve and he starts smiling like an idiot.

"Hey guys" Nash says looking at me for a second before looking at Neve again.

"Hi Nash" we both say.

Nash moves out the way of the door so we can come in.

"Where's cam" I ask

"Oh he's in the living room"

"Ok thanks"

I walk into the living room to see cam on his phone sitting on the sofa.

I go and sit next to him and he looks up at me. And his gaze softens from and hard glare to sweet smile.

"Hi" he says locking his phone and turning towards me.

"Hey" I reply "so what do you wanna do" I ask him.

"I don't mind"

"Let's watch Netflix" I say getting excited."

"Haha sure" he says laughing at me.
"What do you wanna watch?"

"Ummm... should it be a TV series or film"

"TV series"

I smirk at him because I got an idea

"If I pick you have you to watch it no it's, ands, or buts got it" I say sternly but concealing an amused smirk.

"Deal"

"We are going to watch pretty little liars then" I say searching it on Netflix.

"What you're  joking right" he says annoyed.

"Nope"

"But-"

I held up my finger.

"No no no no you said I can pick, so I picked"

"Ugh fine" he sighed rubbing his head.

After a few episodes me and Cameron are cuddled up. Him with his arm around my back. My arm around his waist and my head snuggled into his chest.

"Hey-" I started but he held his finger up to my lips, eyes still fixed in the laptop saying "shhhhhhhhhh this is too tense for talking"

I just giggled at him.

"I guess this was a good idea then"

I said raising my eyebrows at him.

"Yeah it was amazing I didn't know it was this good"

I just laughed at him.

"So who is your favourite liar" he asked turning towards me.

"Ummmm I don't know either Hannah or spencer, what about you"

"Spencer by far, she's the best one"

"True she is"

"But you're better" I barley heard him mumble to himself.

I started smiling like an idiot so I had to bury my head into his chest so he wouldn't see.

"Hey where did Neve and Nash go" I asked looking up at him.

"I have no idea" he smirked "but I have an idea".

I smacked his chest "shut up, Neve's not like that".

"Calm, calm they just went out. Nash had an idea"

"Really like a date" I perked up.

"No I don't think so, just like friends hanging out....." he paused looked at me and saw I had a stern look ".......but he likes her"

"NO WAY" I shout happily sitting up onto his lap

"are you joking" I say excitedly

"No I'm not" he said "but i think you burst my eardrum" he laughed whilst rubbing his ear.

"Sorry, I just can't believe it. I'm so happy" I said smiling like an idiot and covering my face with my hands.

Cameron grabs my hands and slowly moves them from my face.

We look each other in the eyes. I'm still sitting on his lap by the way.

Just as I'm about to lean in we hear some people walk through the living room door.

We both look at the door to see Nash, Neve and Hayes they all have smirks on their faces.

"Hayes" I yell running over to him and throwing my arms around his neck.

"Hey Katie" he greets

"So what was going on in here" Nash says.

"Yeah" Neve laughed a tad walking over to sit in the other sofa Nash sitting next to her Grabbing her legs and putting then over his lap.

I beamed at the two, they would honestly make the cutest couple.

"Oh nothing" I reply going bright red.

"Looked like it" Hayes laughed going into the kitchen. I saw Nash and cam looking at each other, like they were speaking without talking.

"So what were you two doing before... that" Neve asked

"Watching pretty little liars" I tell her going to sit down next to cam. As I sit down cam wraps his arm around me.

"I love pll" Neve tells us

"I know right it's amazing" I say.

"Oh I heard of that it sounds really boring" Nash said rubbing Neve's leg.

"It's actually pretty good" cam says.

"Your joking right" Nash asks

"Wish I was" cam laughs and we all join in
