The winter had been a rough one for the entire castle because of the immense amount of snow, which made it difficult for all the maidens to get work around the castle done and also made travelling to and from the village more difficult as well... But that was all over now, as the snow had melted for the most part, there were still some patches here and there but the ground was moist, just in time for the grapes in the vineyard to be replanted so that wine production could continue for the summer season that would be afoot before long.

Alcina was very busy with her vineyard, she was trying to plan correctly and make sure everything was done right which had occupied a lot of her time and being as stubborn as she was she didn't want to let you help her with anything much more than mailing letters. You'd tried to find other hobbies and such to occupy your time but most of those had been thought of, executed and you'd lost interest. Alcina was starting to take notice of your recent boredom and had become worried, but she had an idea that she thought would work out wonderfully.

You both got to work figuring out the placement of everything and getting everything all planted, as the sun beats down both of you sweating and extremely focused. You also decided to put a couple of ferns on the side of everything to draw it all in, luckily you both finished just in time for dinner, neither of you bothering to change before you sat down to eat as you were both famished.

Dinner was an extremely delectable cheese pie with some lamb steak on the side and a country bread roll to go with everything. The girls seemed to look a bit bewildered at the sight of their mother covered in dirt from outside, also surprised that she didn't make you change before dinner either, though knowing that you both adored gardening they soon shook the feeling, even though they still were a bit weary seeing their mother eating so voraciously and manner less.

Yes we definitely were, we planted a lot of stuff, and within a couple of months everything will be blooming and beautiful in time for it to be warm enough for you girls to go outside- Alcina said as she took a final bite of her food

Everyone finished their food and retired to their rooms to get ready for bed, you and alcina both trudging up the stairs to your chambers. Both of you waste little time getting out of your clothes and into the bath to clean the dirt from your bodies after sweating all day.
