Mother PT. 1

ALCINA'S POV

You woke early, before y/n had even moved from where she laid in her spot on the bed. You were anxious, you didn't know why as your mother had no problems with staying here before, maybe it was the thought of her getting to know y/n. She hasn't spent much time with her and you didn't know if they'd get along well, as their personalities were quite different from one another, your mother being a bit more outgoing and bubbly, with y/n liking to keep to herself mostly, probably a coping mechanism that helped carry her throughout her teens before moving to Romania. Either way they had some things in common so you could just hope that they'd get along. Nonetheless, you ought to wake y/n, as your mother and the girls would be heading over before long.

Y/N'S POV

Alcina shook you gently, urging you to get up in order to be ready before her mother got here. You begrudgingly rolled out of bed, rubbing your eyes and yawning before making you way into the bathroom as per usual.

It didn't take long for you to get ready, just deciding to wear some ripped jeans and a metal t-shirt that wasn't torn from wearing it. As far as makeup went, you went with a darker purple eyeshadow with some shimmer in the corner, and your typical wings and slightly heavy eyeliner around the rest of your eye. You finished up with putting some highlight on you nose and a bit of mascara on your lashes.

You threw on a mix of jewelry that layered nicely and went to help alcina with her outfit. She decided on some jeans with a forest green top, and she added a black belt to tie everything together. She put on a small necklace and some earring studs, going with her usual makeup and red lip.

After you finished getting ready, both of you headed down to the dining room to grab some breakfast.  Just some light toast and bacon, not wanting to eat a huge meal, in case Miranda and the girls were hungry when they got there.

Not too much later, you and alcina were sitting on the couch, drinking your morning coffee when the doorbell rang. She's here you thought as you got up from the couch to meet them at the door along with alcina.

The girls burst through the door just as soon as she could open it, almost knocking you over.

Y/N, MOM!! - The girls screeched as they enveloped you in a huge hug along with Alcina

Woahh girls, take it easy we missed you too. - You tell them as you hug them back

Yes, girls remember I'm old. - Alcina tells them giggling

The girls backed off of you and alcina so that Miranda could get her chance to greet you, finally.

Oh, y/n, Alcina it's so nice to see you guys, how was your trip? - She asked after giving you both a hug

Oh it was great, I got to visit one of my old friends and we saw a lot of great scenery there as well, it was nice to visit my old town after almost four years. - You told her

Oh, I'm sure it was nice to have some time away too, Alcina works too much nowadays- She says jokingly

Hey I've been doing better now that it's getting to be the start of the season, once it gets going, I'll have plenty of free time- Alcina replied

By the way girls, we did bring gifts back from our trip- You told them, pointing upstairs

The girls practically ran to their rooms to see what they had gotten. This freed up some time for Miranda to relax a bit while one of the maidens brought her things up to her room.
