PROLOGUE

Rosso was the oldest daughter of Christian Horner and Beverly.

The pair had her when they were young.

And they were a happy family until her parents decided to end their relationship.

Christian and Beverly agreed to have joint custody of their daughter.

With Christian making sure he got her on weekends, especially race weekends.

Which Beverly was fine with as she saw how happy and excited Formula one weekends made Rosso.

Rosso didn't take her parent's separation well, having been so used to having both parents in the house, never having to be separated from her father.

She was closer to Christian than Beverly and would spend every waking moment possible with him.

Where the girl became best friends with multiple drivers, sometimes became a little sister to them or niece.

Sebastian Vettel became an overprotective older brother figure immediately after their first meeting.

Mark Webber became an overprotective uncle figure.

Jenson Button was one of her closest friends and because she was younger than him, he also became overprotective of the British girl.

Daniel Ricciardo became one of her closest best friends in the paddock.

They were almost inseparable when in the paddock.

The two's friendship caused some strains in Rosso relationships.

They'd get jealous of how close they were and end it.

Some even suspected that the two were sneaking around behind their backs and took matters into their own hands.

Which was farther from the truth.

Rosso had a crush on the Australian, but knew he didn't feel the same way.

Until she was proven wrong.

My friend won't leave me alone about the idea of Rosso and Daniel, so she's to thank for this.
