TW: Abuse
Daniel could see a change in Rosso's behavior from Australia to now in Russia, really before Australia. She just wasn't his carefree best friend anymore, it was like something happened that changed her into this closed off, jumpy person.
He also know he wasn't the only one that found her behavior strange, as Jenson had kept Bahrain and how she jumped at just the slightest touch of his, and her excuse sounded nothing like the girl they knew.
Their best friend would rather be inside reading, writing, or just doing any craft she could, but she would never be out in the sun.
It's not that she hated the sun, it was more she found her books, her writing or crafting to be more entertaining and enjoyable than being out in the sun, the only way being out in the sun was more enjoyable was race weekends, where she could hang out with most of her closest friends.
But he was even starting to notice that she wasn't happy at races, it was like a shell that she was living in and it worried him deeply.
He only got more concerned when she wasn't there after the race after a bad result for him and Jenson, which is something that had became a tradition for the group of friends, along with going out to get their minds off it.
"Where's Rosso?" Daniel asked arriving back to the garage after getting out of the car.
"I don't know, she wasn't in here when I came back from pit wall." Christian told his driver. "Some of the crew haven't seen her since the cars where lined up on the track in the grid positions." He added.
"Weird, she normally always stays here until we leave, she never wants to leave the environment until necessary." He replied, an off feeling bubbling up in his gut.
This was not the girl he knew, the girl that was his best friend.
"I know, maybe she got sick or something?" The team principal questioned his driver, but even he had to admit this was out of character and concerning behavior, and was growing worried for his daughter.
"Maybe, but she would've told someone, have someone tell you or at least message you."
"She probably was feeling so bad that she forgot and wanted to get out."
"Come on Christian, you honestly can't believe that she would just forget to tell you.."
Daniel took his boss silence to confirm that he too was as worried as he was, and that he found this whole situation weird.
"Look, go back to the hotel, if we don't hear from her by morning then we'll go look for her in her hotel room." Christian said after a minute, not even sure if he could wait until morning like he suggested.
"Alright." He agreed, knowing if his bad feeling didn't disappear before or when Jenson gets to his hotel room that he would go check on her anyways.
Dakota was pacing across the hotel room mumbling to himself while sending death glares at Rosso, making her nervous about what was coming next.
She had really set him off this time by hugging Daniel before the race while whispering good luck and for him to be careful, something that Dakota had mistook as an romantic moment between the two of them, and she had a feeling that she hasn't seen the worst of his outburst yet.
The thought that he could and would do worst today than what she experienced before sent chills down her spine, and he already landed a few good smacks in by now.
"When are you ever going to learn Rosso? I told you to stay away from them yet you go and kiss him!" He suddenly yelled, causing her to flinch at the sudden outburst.
