It was time for the Australian Grand Prix to start and Rosso was sat where she normally sat in Daniel's side of the garage.
Unfortunately, Dakota was next her with his arm wrapped around her waist, normally she'd like his company, but after the argument this morning in the Daniel's drivers room she wasn't too happy with him.
And he was clearly not okay with being on this side of the garage by the look on his face.
"You can go to Daniil's side of the garage if you want." She muttered to him quickly, earning a slight glare from him.
"And start rumors of us fighting or worst having broken up?"
"No one here is going to think that." She smiled softly at him, gently kissing his lips. "It's just on the other side of the garage." She added chuckle.
"Follow me over there?" He questioned with a raised eyebrow. "Or we can sneak off for some fun." He added with a slight smirk.
"I'm not going to skip a race just because your needy, and I'd like to stay right here, where I normally stay on race weekends, it eases my nerves for Danny."
"Alright." He sighs getting up and walking over to Daniil's side of the garage.
He knew exactly why she was stay over there, and he wasn't just going to watch it happen.
He knew she was in love with the Australian.
And he was determined to keep her, to make her forget about him, and he'd stop at nothing to make sure she'll only love him.
To do that he would have to keep a watchful eye on her, which is exactly what he spent the whole race doing.
Rosso smiled when the race ended, she was happy that Sebastian ended up on the podium, even if it was P3.
She was also a little saddened that Daniel wasn't up there on the podium, but was deeply proud of him.
He had given it his best and managed P4 which was still amazing, although he wanted to win today, but who wouldn't want to win there home Grand Prix.
She quickly tried to locate him in hopes that she could watch the podium after congratulating him for the good result.
But was soon stopped when an arm was rapped around her waist, an arm he immediately recognized as Dakota's.
"Told you so." He whispered into her ear, referring to earlier, causing her to frown.
Trying to shake off the feeling that he was actually right, she smiled up at him. "I have to go congratulate him, then hopefully catch the podium ceremony to support Sebastian."
"He lost the race, there no need to congratulate him, and you really don't need to watch the podium, your team isn't even up there, so it'll be weird with you there, supporting rivals."
"Sebastian might drive for Ferrari now, but he's still a close friend, and like a sibling to me. I'll support him as I damn well please."
"And disappoint your dad?"
"Like my dad will be disappointed for me Cheering on Seb, he knows how close we are so he doesn't care if I watch the podium or not. It's not like I'm there for Lewis or Nico. Now excuse me I'm going to find Daniel." She said and walked off to find the Australian she was looking for.
Finding him easily which was a shock to her with how many people were here, his family, and all of the chaos that was happening in pit lane right now.
"Hey Danny, congratulations on P4!" She said hugging him quickly. "You did amazing." She added with a smile.
"Thank you Ro." He smiled hugging her tightly. "Now go watch Seb receive his trophy, we'll catch up later." He added with a chuckle, receiving a nod from her while she ran off, while he just stood there laughing quietly.
Halfway to the podium she remembered that she'll have to find Jenson, who had been struggling in the McLaren which caused his bad result.
She refused to not be there for any of her friends, that have became a second family to her, so it often made situations like the one that's happening right now hard.
One on the podium, one had a good race, and one that had a shit race.
Which is why Jenson would mostly get most of her time today, because he was the one that needed it most.
Of course she was pretty sure their Australian friend will join them tonight after family time.
It was something the trio did when there was something happening with them and they needed a distraction, or maybe even to vent out their frustrations.
Many of those nights ended with a punch or two into a pillow, mainly at the hands of her own.
Being broken out of her thought by a hand grabbing her which caused her to jump and look up.
"Chill it's just me baby." Dakota replied with a chuckle. "You look a bit pale, maybe we head back?"
"I'm fine, just lost in thought about tonight's plans on how to cheer up Jenson."
"Cancel them, because we have plans tonight."
"What plans?" She found herself questioning him in confusion. "We haven't made plans for tonight."
"Of course we do Rosso, you just forgot them apparently. We always go out on Sundays."
"I mean, I guess I can see if Jenson wants to do something tomorrow." She told him still confused.
"Thank you baby." He smiled kissing her forehead and dragging her back to the garage. "We need to leave now to make it babe, so grab your stuff and we can head out."
"Okay." She said grabbing her stuff quickly, while saying a quick goodbye to her dad, who it seems like she's hardly seen this whole weekend.
A/N
I already hate Dakota...
To bad he's sticking around for a little bit.
I can't wait to show the friendship between Jenson and Rosso.
It's going to be chaotic or it is in my mind at least.
Maybe we'll have some flashback of younger Rosso and so of the drivers she's closets with.
Let me know if that'll be something your interest in.
Also feel free to vote and comment!
I would to hear your thoughts!
I hope you all enjoy!
Thank you~ Jackie
